The…read moreprevious company charged me $95 to check out the heater, the tech didn't even touch my heater, I explained to him what was going on, and he immediately quoted me a high price to replace a valve (that he didn't even check) or another high price for a new unit. I waited a few day and check on Angi lists, Luis from Startech called me, came out, thoroughly checked out my unit and showed more items which would either going out or about to soon. Quoted me a fair price for a new unit (Ruud, same as other company), told me when the could get it done, and they did so even though their tech (Daniel, excellent and thorough work) had to stay until late to finish, but we had heat that night (one of the coldest nights to date for this year). Our unit broke down at the beginning of December. We filed a claim through our home owners…read moreinsurance and called Aireserve among several other companies to get our unit repaired. Aireserve unfortunately is the only business that called us back. We had no heat in our home and needed someone to come to our residence and get the unit repaired. Aireserve came out and replaced a part and charged us over $200. The technician told us that our unit was not in the best condition and it was a temporary fix. Our unit broke down 12 hours later. To make our story short, Aireserve does not cooperate w/ clients that have a homeowners claim. We paid out of pocket for our unit and just want our insurance company to re-imburse us for the cost as we have the coverage. Aireserve has REFUSED to refund the $200+ we paid that didnt even get our unit 100% working and REFUSES to fill our paper work from our insurance company or allow our insurance company to send someone out and run a diagnostic on the old unit. The girls answering the phones are rude and do not know what they are talking about. Airserve just wants to take clients money and give bad customer service after the fact. Aireserve, do better. We are out $10,000 when we should not be. WE HAVE THE COVERAGE W/ OUR INSURANCE COMPANY! We do not recommend this company at all.

With our children, we spent over a month in 90+ degree heat waiting for a part to come in that the owner (Robert) had ordered. After the month, we contacted BOTH him AND the local distributor of the AC company to find out that Robert JUST ordered a couple OTHER needed parts THAT DAY. Another week to 10 days later, we get the phone call that he's ready to install. The HVAC technician that was sent was very kind and professional. Unfortunately, the lack of adequate and honest communication we experienced with the owner (who handles the bulk of the business) before and since has been absolutely appalling. We should not have to keep asking to receive estimates for additional work that Robert personally promised (new registers and duct work-initially, even roofing services) or rebates that we were eligible to receive through El PASO Electric (today, we had to call the electric company and THEY told us that Robert declined to follow through with his required part that would enable us to receive $200 towards the $845 we gave him). It's unfortunate that Dynamic Heating & Cooling Refrigeration did not value us as customers by providing timely, accurate answers. No one appreciates being purposely mislead.

The technicians that came out were very respectful, worked diligently and kept me informed throughout the day of the process on the installation. I found Robert, the owner, to be very conscientious of my needs. As well by doing research on my own I was better able to understand my personal needs. Companies try to provide the product they feel is right for a customer, however, doing research will help a customer know what is truly right for them.
