An unexpected little slice of cute coffee hipsterism on the ground floor of bustling Footscray Market. Guerilla certainly shows promise with a very attractive fit-out and nice service. Perch on industrial chic stools whilst overlooking the pristine and remodelled Footscray station or sit on the pavement and enjoy the whiffs of over-ripe fruit wafting over from the market stalls. Service is prompt and friendly and the food is tasty. Grilled sandwiches are served with quality meats (proscuitto, ham, and salami) and cheese and come with a little tureen of tomato chutney. There's also some delicious looking bakery goods and a few specials. On the day I was there it was an appetising looking, but oddly unseasonal burrata and tomato on toast.

I'll be returning to this cafe again anyway as I l dig its convenient location, cool vibe, and tasty sandwiches. read more
