We have a far drive so he made sure to double up tying our tree on the roof of our car. It wasn't too crowded or overwhelming like some of the other places. Everyone was wearing masks, too. The greeting was pretty much a list of warnings and rules, not a "welcome" or "thanks for trying us." We brought a gas chainsaw, which wasn't mentioned in the posted policies, but were stopped and told they only allow electric saws because "less liability." (It's still a chainsaw cutting a small trunk... but okay.) The conversation had a bit of attitude on both sides, not going to lie. We used the hand saws they provide, wandered the field with zero guidance, and most trees were under 6 ft with big gaps. Not worth $75 just to check a box and call it a tree. When we came back to look at precuts, we overheard staff talking about us -- not exactly the holiday spirit. We made sure they knew we heard them, wished them a Merry Christmas, and headed out. Overall: Not friendly, not organized, trees weren't great, and the experience wasn't worth the price. Lesson learned: sometimes the place you've gone for years is worth the extra drive.

All of the trees under 11' were $50 and they were all beautifully shaped. We ended up with an incredibly fragrant Balsam fir. We cut it down and they stopped and picked it up from us with a cart, no dragging the tree through the mud to the car. And an added plus, they wrap the tree so it's easy to get in the car and bring it home. We also picked up some incredibly well priced maple syrup from the farm down the road.

Back at camp they will shake it and wrap it, then you are on your way. After years of lame store bought threes the week before Christmas, it was time to enter the wild and start a new family tradition. When we pulled in we were warmly greeted by the farm owner Debbie and her mother. They did a great job of helping us find the right mums we were looking for and actually helped us buy some for our upcoming wedding. They were extremely polite and actually told us that we could house our mums there until our wedding day. They said that they would take care of the plants without any additional charge which was a relief for us. The price is here also reasonable which was an added plus. The customer service here alone warrants five stars but I can't talk highly enough about their quality. The flowers that they have, as well as the other plants and gourds are incredible. We will continue to shop here in the future and we are excited to hopefully buy our Christmas tree here come winter.

The owner and her son were outside arguing and blatantly ignored us and turned the lights off while we were clearly standing in the parking lot. Finally, a young man did come over and ask if we wanted any help. We said we would like a tree, decided to basically take the first one we saw and get out as quickly as possible. The whole experience took about 15 minutes, definitely not the type of heartwarming traditional Christmas experience we were expecting when parroting a local family owned business. I will say that the young man who helped us was ultimately very friendly and we are happy with our tree, we just won't plan to return here again.
