Dependable mechanics and a family owned business. Was able to get my PA inspections done quickly on multiple cars.

Horrible place to buy a car!!! Placed a sticker without checking brakes. Said they Put fluids in…read morewhen I left all the fluids had nothing in them.Put $1500 down with in 1day. Check engine light came on.. Brakes were hard to stop (those should of been checked before a sticker was placed on).. Heater and air conditioner stopped working. 2holes underneath that caused car to over heat multiply times. 12days later I'm without a vehicle because it just stopped running. Contacted them and they said they would call.. Never did.. Well now the state police are involved along with the better business Bureau and whoever else I can contact!!! Might not be able to get the money I wasted with these scammers but I will go to every extent to get them in trouble for selling me a car that they just placed a sticker on!!! That's vehicle fraud.. Oh wait they did fix the brakes then tried to charge me $106 for brake pads that would of never wore down if the brakes were inspected in the first place!!!! Scammers!!! Worst car lot in erie/waterford!!!

Buyer beware! I purchased a truck and within 3 days I had it back for repair. They were very…read morecourteous and fixed the truck without charging me. They replaced the tipm module with a reconditioned unit which only lasted about 3 weeks before failing. I took the truck back to Summit expecting them to stand behind their work and fix the truck. After evaluation of the problem they admitted that the tipm module they installed had failed and needed repair. They tried to charge me $700 dollars for a new tipm. When I told them that they should be responsible for the repair they refused, then later stated that they were not qualified for this type of repair, (not sure why they tried it the first time then). They did offer me a free tow to a qualified mechanic who fixed the problem for about $200 bucks. Even at the reduced rate Summit Auto refused to pay for the repair. I guess to some, $200 dollars is worth more than doing the right thing. I signed up for YELP specifically to warn others about Summit Auto.
