EVEN Pittsburgh has jumped to the top of my favorite locations now. It's downtown, affordable, and a quick walk to just about every part of downtown. We walked to the incline, and the parks that direction. We also walked across the other bridges to Warhol, baseball, and football stadiums. We also had a good time walking around downtown. The one thing I would note, I'm not sure if I'd use EVEN for a homebase if you're going to be out drinking and staggering in late night. When you're in the hotel lobby and hotel, you're safe. When it's day time, you're safe but there is a ton of city noise and people noise(on the streets) late into the night. With the paragraph above, I want to add you walk into the building and take the elevator up to the 5th floor. The hotel is on floor 5 and 6. The cool thing is I think they also own their lobby on the first floor. If you're not walking to/from places, it's a great lobby to wait on your Uber(or food delivery) if you need. I liked that touch to this location. This EVEN is like most. Just a different layout. A what you need gym. Workout equipment in the room. Your typical room amenities. Clean. Great staff. Small marketplace with snacks/drinks. An onsite cafe/restaurant to eat and drink until you're content. This location also has a game room. I noticed ping pong and cornhole but they might've had other things in that room. There is an iParkit garage directly across the street. Just buy your parking online and make sure you get in/out privileges. When visiting any city, parking can sometimes be a challenge. Did it cost to park in that garage... yes, but it took that hassle out of the trip completely. Great garage. I'll easily stay here again the next time I'm in Pittsburgh! Great spot!

Haven't come across that before after staying at many hotels across the world There's still a nice on-site fitness room too and bar/restaurant. No pool though if you're looking for one Location was great, walking distance to so much fun - restaurants, bars, shopping, historic walks looking at the skyscrapers of the early 1900s, short distance to the rivers and bridges and the sports stadiums. The original food tour company in Pittsburgh - they take you on tours with local experts and great connections to the city culture. We were blessed with our tour guide, Karen - who was a culinary instructor and an architecture buff - so our tour of the Strip District was loaded with quips and tips. Rather than just trying the food on a new era self guided tour, you are given the history of the century old establishments, the clever stories that made them what they are, and a personal interaction curated with the owners at a dedicated time. We visited 11 places and ate at 8. Karen said that she'd consider it a win if we ended on time and we ended full. The tour took exactly two hours as advertised and we didn't even need dinner later that night! I grew up in Pittsburgh but I will now cherish so much more of the Strip District - this tour opened my eyes to what so many more places have to offer! Oh....and you get swag!!! My friends and I went to see the Spin Doctors for the first week of the Arts Festival. The stage and grass area is very nice. They even have wooden and iron benches in the back that you can sit on and still see. People also brought blankets and chairs to the concert. There are a few play areas for kids that are very nice. There were a bunch of kids playing there and they looked very happy. You get some great city and Northside views from there too. It was right in the heart of the Arts Fest on the bridge which was nice.
