    Flight was delayed by 2 hours and by the time I arrived there weren't any vehicles in the zone that I reserved. The attendant informed us to go to the next one and to get any keys. Of course the next zone there weren't many vehicles either. We ended up with an SUV Chevy TRAX, which wasn't our top choice also with out of state plates so I'm always on higher alert of getting ticketed. As others have mentioned how is it that with reservations made in advance they do not have enough vehicles on premise for each of the zones?! At other rental locations/companies they walk through and inspect with you the current condition. I forgot to take photos 360 at the lot since we were already behind but I did take some at a parking lot unfortunately in direct sunlight. Thankfully the time we went it was not too hot since the AC DID NOT WORK. It just blew air and we opted to keep the windows down on local roads. What a bummer. It's not like we would have known this before driving off... I submitted the feedback to them in the survey afterwards but no response. Then the worst part was when we returned the vehicle there was an option to just drop off and go but I'm glad we waited for the employee to inspect so that we wouldn't get a mysterious charge. He seemed very alarmed and said, "M'am... what is THIS dent on the hood?!" I looked at it and didn't even see it had to strain my eyes but there was a slight dent which was definitely there but I had not taken a full frontal just the sides that I noticed scratches. There was also noticeable scratch next to one of the lights which we did capture and they relented that it was there beforehand. It does not appear they fully inspect and inventory their vehicles in the hopes of tacking on extra charges for their customers. Due to the suspicious behavior I waited for him to confirm that the invoice would be the same as what I was quoted before we continued to the airport.

    This is where they sent me to find my car. It's cold.

    Except a 30 minute wait, while other counters are empty. No reason they can't speed up this awful process.

    Service is extremely slow and they definitely take their time they are nice however they don't really seem to know what they are doing

    They do not pick up the phone at any of their locations. I wanted to add a driver and the national number would not do it.

Knowing that I was going to file a claim with my insurance company for the loss, I informed a manager at drop off what happened just in case my insurance company asked if I had informed them. This manager was so nice. He said I should enter a lost and found ticket with enterprise so that I could give my insurance company proof that I informed them. The branch also called me later saying that they were pulling out the center console and seats to see if they could find it for me! Unfortunately, the car design probably made the ring fall further down, but the effort of this team went above and beyond my expectations. I encourage you to support this business if you need a rental car at MKE airport.

    DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE This was not only the worst car…read morerental experience I've ever had. It's the worst company I've ever dealt with! FYI, Enterprise and Alamo are the same company. This Milwaukee Airport location gave me a car that was 300+ miles overdue for service. There was a mechanical problem and the only solution was for me to call a tow truck and get an Uber to where I needed to go. To add insult to injury, after dealing with this, they wanted me to drive the car back to the airport to have the oil changed! The service rep then told me to compensate me, he would extend the Rental for 3 days, to make up for the 3 days I could not use it. What he did NOT DISCLOSE, was that there was an additional $225.00 charge! Since they had my credit card, they just added it to my bill, despite my disagreement! Stay away from this Alamo/Enterprise location!

The manager at our drop off in MKE assured us everything would be taken care of, and that he would get back to us within 48 hours. Tried to change the reservation online and kept getting an error message. I "contacted support" through some old-fashioned form that looked like it was from the 1980's on Bill Gate's first computer...no reply. I tried to call multiple times and couldn't speak to a person- the automated system just keeps listing a bunch of options and then gives you another recorded message in an endless loop of recordings. I'd hate to know what the (non)response would be if I had an emergency while renting with them. What I ended up doing was calling my credit card company and disputing the charge- which was EASY and now I love Chase bank for life. Cancelling this reservation and never again booking with Thrifty. (FYI- Dollar is also owned by Hertz so you might want to avoid Dollar, too.) Enterprise is worth the extra cash and I will never deviate from Enterprise again.

Seven hundred dollars is an absolutely absurd price, and there has to be a better way of dealing with that. Companies like Safelite exist for these exact moments--tiny chips can be fixed up and not be an issue any longer. There is not a NEED to go through the dealership and get an entire new, special windshield put in and charge a family $700. Especially for something that isn't caused by neglect or recklesness. There is no way to prevent an accident like a rock, and no need to charge SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS to fix that. Absurd.
