The army, the police, and other security agencies. Over 400k people pass through here daily. The station has a moder look. If you want o see a more historic station with more Sculptures and Art, you MUST see the Milan Central Station. So far, is the best I had seen in the world. I had a tour guide give me the story of the Milan station a different it was amazing. To the right side of the Termini. There's a booth for the Bus customer service of you need the bus. I'll admit, after a 13 hour flight a train was not what I wanted in the 109 degree heat with full on jet lag, but it was comfortable and easy. I'm glad we tried. We liked its ease so much we opted to use it a few times during our week in Rome. I highly recommend.

My opinion of the taxi service in Amsterdam and Belgium has not been the best. He was very knowedgeable and personable. We were able to see all of the main attractions we wanted to see, and he utilized our time well, avoiding traffic. Andrea made reservations for us to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant where we sampled local food and wine. We were also able to go shopping for souvenirs and learn about the history of the area. We ot back to our cruise exhausted but happy from all we had seen and experienced. The following day, Andrea met us at the Naples port and we headed to Pompeii. He had arranged a private guided tour of Pompeii for us, which we thouroughly enjoyed. We then headed to Sorrento for lunch and shopping. But on Trip Number Six, last week, I discovered an even EASIER mode of transit. You guessed it! Airport Shuttle Express was recommended to me -- er, rather forced upon me -- as I stood at the kiosk in the train station at the airport, trying to buy a train ticket into town. Although I hate being pressured into buying something by a fast-talking know-it-all, I bent to the will of the lady at the kiosk and agreed to buy a ticket for the shuttle instead of the train. And you know what? It worked fabulously. So much so that my hubby and I reserved seats for our return journey too. On the inbound ride we shared the van with two other couples, thus stopped at two hotels before ours, yet still made it there in the 40 min. estimated by hard-sell kiosk-lady. What's more, we passed some of the best scenery imaginable: we drove by the Pyramid, the Circus Maximus, the Colosseum, down the Corso, past Termini (waving to those poor folks taking the train), and near the Spanish Steps. The driver himself was extremely courteous and even pointed out some of the major monuments as we careened (safely of course) around -- but he didn't chat us up or try to engage us in conversation, which I appreciate after a long flight. When it came time to leave the Eternal City and we had scheduled our shuttle pick-up, the same gentleman was at our hotel waiting for us, calmly munching a saltine, fifteen minutes before our official pick-up time. Beyond punctual! Bottom line: At 40 min. door-to-door (!) and 15€ apiece (hardly more than the express train), not to mention the huge convenience of not having to lug baggage on/off trains and across the massive Termini station (you know how far the airport train parks from the station exit!), there's no question: Airport Shuttle Express is my new ride into Rome.

I want to thank Trenitalia team for recovering my Blue with gray ducktape A15G £99 phone. In early morning hours 7am I purchased validate and went on the platform to board the train to Ladispoli. Somehow I went into wrong train traveling to Pisa. I walk into train took my phone and charger to connect to sock. I stood in front of TV glued ty screen which display direction of train cites in display. In that moment I realised I am on the wrong train. I grabbed my bags/ stuff but somehow I left my phone on the seat. On the way to train station i asked female conductors if the train heading to Ladispoli and she said no to Pisa. I said I am on the wrong train. She laught. I return to train station to look for departure time and platform. I put my hand into to retrieve my phone to compare two outputs but my phone was gone. I checked all the pockets nothing then I analysed what could happen. Did I lost, got robbed, left on the bench. After a minute or so I come to conclusion I left on the train. I approached tickets window and describe what happen. Lady ask young gentlemen for help and he took over my case. I think from incident to tell the story was around 5 min. He called conductor on the train heading to Pisa and she recover my phone. Then she pass on my phone to different conductor heading to my direction. Few hours later I recover my phone. I offer a cup of coffee for those who took a part in recovering my phone however my offer was rejected. I offer €20 so they can buy coffee, still on ofter was rejected. I am writing this review because I want to buy a cup of coffee for all people who took a part in recovering my phone. Thank you

If you don't speak or read Italian, be very careful - they are manufacturing ways to fine people who don't know any better.
