RUDE!!!! RUDE!!!! RUDE!!!!! 1st time appointment scheduled and I arrived ***FOURRRRR MINUTES**** past the 10 minute grace period due to public transportation. Without being belligerent I expressed that as a first time client, I should be given some grace. I was met with attitude and combative replies from the front desk receptionist who happens to be hispanic with glasses. Trevor is the man!! He fixed my glasses that our infant broke accidentally. He said it was a battle but he got it and he certainly did!!

I have visited 3 locations and each was a terrible experience with rude staff. The staff act terribly annoyed when you call to make an appointment and even worse when you actually show up. They accepted my insurance so I tried to get past their attitude. I now pay out of pocket and don't use the insurance due to the issues with Herslof. The offices were dirty and I was the first appointment of the day. The service was so so, but I had to wait almost 30 minutes after my exam for someone to help me with the frames I selected. Then I told them I'd return on Frdayi to place my order (pay) and then come to find out that they didn't save any of my information, so I had to do the process of waiting all over again! read more

Terrible Service! When we went to get him glasses the service was hard pressed to help him even to look at frames. Then to pick them up..just handed them to him. No sit down with him to adjust or ask if he could see good with them, nothing! We just took them and left, NEVER AGAIN!! read more

went to herslof on 3631 west Oklahoma av Milwaukee my brother in law broke his glasses in the hospital he was in for 40 days for partial foot amputation Michelle took care of us she looked at the glasses and said would most likely need new frames we explained he had no other glasses she said maybe I can fix them she came back a little time later and said she fixed them we then said we would like to get another pair just in case she looked up his last test their and called the insurance and told us the cost this employee went beyond being one of the best employees a store could have we want to thank you for you kindness and will will recommend this store thanks Michelle read more

Horrible service. They do not have a computer system, prescriptions are done on paper. Four trips just to get exam, 1 pair glasses and lenses for a 2nd pair. Lady with brown hair was nice the first time told me before the exam insurance would cover 1 pair the whatever left would cover lenses for 2nd pair. After exam she told me I would have to wait til 1st pair came in to get lenses for 2nd pair. 2nd trip she told me she had to fax the prescription in that it was too late and to come back. I told her it should have been done the first trip. I went back 3rd time she was rude, irritated said she was closed before 5pm, online hours state they close at 5:30. At this point I'm frustrated. I been waiting for my daughter's glasses for over a month now and when I called them a couple days ago they told me they would contact me, she needs them for school so her teachers are continually asking me to have her get her glasses! When I went in 2 weeks after they should have ordered them I stood there waiting for 30 minutes, and they weren't able to give me a response on her prescription, they had papers everywhere glasses everywhere it was a complete mess, all I heard them saying was "there was a mistake with that orders" but none of the employees were able to give me answers. Very Disappointing Experience at this Oklahoma location. In order to book an eye exam you must call and verify your insurance. When I arrived with my children to our appointment the young unprofessional stated that we didn't have insurance after I provided her with insurance cards. she stated that she had nothing in her system and it's an issue with corporate. I stated to her that I was just there two days prior and that we have already been confirmed. The young unprofessional appeared to be immature and irritated. Instead of my children witnessing their first miniature Karen meltdown we simply turned and walked out. I then called the appointment number to confirm my insurance and appointment had been entered correctly and the appointment center stated that they have never herd of corporate having any issues of this matter. To the Racist young unprofessional please note that African Americans have insurance and also the ability to pay with cash and/or Platinum Amex cards. It's unfortunate that an optometrist couldn't see the immaturity in the hiring process with this employee. She needs to be let go. read more

This optician is awful. They do not use computer systems at all. All prescriptions and appointments are done on paper, which leads to a ton of mistakes. I have had glasses not come in for weeks because someone forgot to order them. Beware the older white lady with the brown hair- super rude and doesn't see anything wrong with ignoring customers who walk in the door. I called to get a copy of my son's prescription and was told I could come in and get it and they would measure his PD (so I could order his glasses online). When I got there the same lady from above took over 20 minutes to give me the prescription and flat out refused to measure the PD for me. At first she told me they weren't allowed, and then when pressed she said that it would be $30 and even when I agreed wouldn't measure it for us. We came here for years because we had crap insurance that only Herslof accepted. Now we have much better insurance and I will never step foot in this terrible place again. DO NOT COME HERE. read more
