Noticed our basement drain was backing up into the basement called Maas and sons at (April 2nd 2019)8am and someone (Scott?) was here by 930am (wasn't an emergency I'm sure they would've shown up sooner if I told them it was as water wasn't actively filling my basement). Took under a hour for him to get the drain unclogged. Both gentlemen were extremely kind to my very curious boys. The bill was again very acceptable.

I thought there was no way I would get anyone out on a holiday and freezing cold day. He made it out late In the afternoon and called me and told me me that he was not going to charge me because he thought maybe they could have caught the issue at our yearly check. He was so incredibly professional, and above and beyond helpful and kind. I went from starting the day feeling like we might have big issues on worst possible day, to having the most pleasant call confirming it was fixed at no charge and they appreciate our ongoing business. This has just been a mess since the beginning. Best was contracted by the people we used to replace…read morethe siding. He showed up sporadically, and was awkward and unprofessional. The first time was okay, I let him inside (during COVID) even though he was doing outdoor work so he could see the space. He never wore a mask, didn't even have one, and no shoe covers either. The next time I asked him to wear a mask and I had to provide one to him. The next time (yes, this has been almost two months and the project still isn't complete) he showed up to the job with a dead drill? He needed to plug it into my house to charge, and then just sat in his van half an hour letting it juice up. We wanted two over-door lights and two outdoor outlets put in. He would leave siding open on the house showing the insulation and then leave for days at a time, even during rain storms. The last time he came over he slammed so hard that the plaster wall cracked INSIDE the house! We had two switches to be fixed inside, he did one then sat down and said he was too tired for the day and needed to go home. So he just.... left? Still hasn't been fixed. Now it's been three and a half weeks since he "finished" the project and guess what? The switches for the outdoor lights are swapped. One side of the duplex controls the other side's outdoor lights and vice versa. We've been calling this whole time to get him to return and fix the work, but no one has showed up.
