Roofing recommendation:…read more This summer I had Hulsey Roofing replace both my house and garage roofing on my old 3 story, deeply sloped home. They did a great job. It was hard to find someone who would do this properly and I'm very happy with the result! A+, 5 stars, highly recommend. Can't say enough for the professional service. Those guys worked hard, in the heat, in a small space, and made sure it was right. https://hulseyroofingstl.com

Himstedt Roofing is wonderful! They came out last winter to fix two big issues on the roof of my…read more100 yr-old house, which have been totally fine since then. The shingles are not that old, but my roof had a bad sag in back (due to original bad construction) & a leaking spot in front. They fixed both big areas, plus they found a vent pipe that wasn't shingled around & fixed it, & even recaulked around my chimney while they were up there! That's true caring about your job! They did not leave a mess, either (I only found two nails on the ground afterwards, which was amazing, for all the work they did!) Price was reasonable for this job, too.

Took 2 months to come put the facia back up that they took down. Believe I was overcharged and possibly price gouging. The person who quoted us said there were 2 layers of shingles that needed removed when in fact there was 1. Not sure if we got credit for the unused materials they picked up. I had to keep hounding them for 2 months to send pictures in to the insurance company. I was told on 2 occasions they had but when I contacted the insurance company, they hadn't received them. The salesman is just that. Tells you what you want to hear whether it's the truth or not. We were told there was hail damage, so insurance would pay for it. Insurance company said it's something else and won't pay.

A lot of companies say one thing and do another. They over promise and under deliver. Brody Allen Exteriors does the opposite. They make a promise -- and then they over deliver. If you need a new roof, siding, or gutters, don't waste time shopping around or comparing companies that can't match this level of integrity and follow through. Brody Allen Exteriors is the real deal.

We recently moved into a new home that was in need of new siding. Madison County Roofing had done…read moreboth siding and roofing work at our previous home so we contacted them again. The day before they were to start on the siding, we had an estimate come back from our insurance regarding a roofing credit due to a hail storm. Madison County Roofing made the change in scope work and they replaced both the roof and siding. This was not an easy job as there were bad patches of sheathing under the old siding to replace and many odd angles to deal with on the roof. Their attention to detail was terrific and they have a very conscientious crew who tried very hard to keep the job site clean and safe. Our home was completely transformed from a classic Tudor style to a much more modern look and we could not be happier with the result. I highly recommend Madison County Roofing. Very reliable and responsive and they do top quality work.

We knew it needed a…read morenew roof so we called several area contractors, some of them were big names that you see advertised on local TV all the time. We threw St. Louis Roofing and Exteriors on the list just because the reviews on Yelp seemed pretty good. Wow, were we impressed! We got a prompt call back and an estimator looked at the roof the next day. Our estimate was very detailed, offering several options. St. Louis Roofing and Exteriors had the best price and we really appreciated the fact that they didn't try to sell us a bunch of other things we really didn't need. Work on our roof was started fairly quickly and completed in an amazing 2-3 days. Our property was cleaned up thoroughly and we were happy. For a while. Then it rained and our new beautiful roof leaked. We called to complain and they got right back with us, came out quickly and worked on the roof some more. It was still leaking so they came out a second time and it's been dry as bone ever since. Is that great customer service, or what? No excuses, no arguments, they just got right on it and made it right. We've since moved to the Kansas City area or we would have them work on our home again in an instant! Lynn and Thom-picky customers, but completely satisfied.

I came home to my parking spot and ramp to enter my home blocked, I asked the construction worker to move the truck, he attempted to ignore me. I had to honk at him repeatedly and wait about 10 minutes to get them to move. I also found out my neighbor had told them to move as soon as they parked in the spot and they ignored them and parked illegally. The next day they knocked on my door 4 separate times while I worked from home trying to force me to move my car from my accessible spot to get out of there way even though the HOA rep had said nothing about people needing to move for them, and again not what accessible spots are made for. Construction on the project got delayed 5 days beyond there promised timeline. They were made aware I needed access and still blocked access, don't give excuses do better. Avoid this company if you don't want to be dissatisfied.
