While the work completed on the day of service was to our satisfaction, the plants we had added to our yard have pretty much died since then, even after following the very few care recommendations offered by Santos (and doing much more research on our own). Our yard now looks as bad (if not worse) than it did previously. If Santos wants to be considered a landscaping company, there should have been more assistance in regards to plant selection and placement. To add insult to injury, we paid extra money for "better quality" plants (at the recommendation of Santos), and those plants look dismal (even with regular care). Bottom line: We are left feeling we paid a lot of money for a yard that looked nice for about a week. Pro Tip: If you want yard maintenance, this is probably the right company for you, but if you want a comprehensive landscaping consult, you might want to consider other companies.

I got bids from 4 different companies, but I knew right away I'd be hiring Green Triangle. Victor knows trees and showed me three of the many Douglas Fir trees that were diseased and had to come down. He walked the property taking notes. We have an acre. He and his crew also got rid of enormous patches of blackberries and scotch broom, clearing the pasture and cleaning up the front and back yards. I agreed again because of the recommendation from a friend. Their price was not the lowest I received. I walked the job with them in advance and was specific that we wanted the trimming to look natural and not aggressive pruning. They assured me they would be careful. They then changed the start date after I had waited for two weeks. Then they couldn't finish in the specified time and had to come back a separate day. They did a good job weeding, but the pruning was very aggressive on some of the plants we specifically asked they be careful with. Still the yard looks very good. We asked for a quote for spreading mulch and monthly maintenance and I had to ask multiple times. Then they came back with a super high quote for mulch that made zero sense and never responded regarding monthly maintenance. They left me feeling frustrated with how they provide the business part of the service. I would have hired them for the mulch and the monthly service if they had been responsive and reasonable. They seem like nice people, but not worth the headache.
