"What is it with you people from Pensacola lately who think I'm going to deliver 1 or 2 barrels seven hours away? It's so hard to check the website to see we're in Clearwater and I'm not driving 14 hours for two barrels? Let me know when you need $2000 worth and wanna pay $600 for delivery." My wife contacted this company to have a rain barrel system installed for watering our garden…read more Everything seemed fine, but once the installer (I think the owner? Seems like a one-man operation) arrived to our home, it became pretty apparent the guy didn't really know what he was doing. The spigot and couplers between the barrels both leaked on a test run from the garden hose. It appeared they were simply smothered in silicone and not properly attached to the barrels. He had also set up the overflow pipe coming out of the top of the second barrel (this wouldn't work because the overflow was higher than the intake opening in the first barrel... So water would just overflow out of that instead, without the ability to be redirected into a drain or whatever. We wound up purchasing an overflow hose kit specifically for this purpose online). After this, he came back a week or two later to fit a flex-hose from our gutters' downspout to the barrels for water intake (on the first trip he had said he wanted to check out our gutters to see what he was working with). Well, he had apparently changed his mind about the flex-hose and wanted to use a section of downspout and an elbow to direct water into the barrel, but the downspout was too low in relation to the barrel platform, and he hadn't brought a saw. So this required another trip. The third time he came out, he brought the saw but had lost the confidence to actually cut into our downspout and recommended we have the gutter installer come back and finish the job. We still don't have a functional rain barrel system. The guy was nice enough and didn't seem to mind discounting us for the shitty situation, but I'd have just preferred he not have offered the service if he weren't capable of performing the task to a professional standard.

I would highly suggest you buy the cases from sprouts or rolling oats and install a water purifier under your sink. In the long haul, it will be much less frustrating and your own.
