Called Suncoast Plumbing February 5, 2024. Talked to Christina she made the appointment for me the very next day February 6, between 1:00 PM through PM. Christina called at 1:43 PM, I was unable to answer her call before I she hang-up. I called her back at 1:45 PM, Christina told me that she had already sent the plumber to another location. Christina told me she could not have her plumbers setting around waiting. She was very rude to me on the phone. I had to wait for them to show up between 1:00 and 5:00 PM. My kitchen sink was backed and then gunk started backing up into the bathroom sink. I am so thankful I had Myke as my plumber as he has 24 years' experience and know how to deal with this. Right after 6:00 p.m. I tried to change hoses on an outside water outlet. When I twisted it, it broke off at the copper tubing inside the wall. Water was gushing everywhere. Luckily, I found that shut off and called three different plumbers and left messages. One of the three plumbers that I called said that I could text them and it would probably be a shorter wait for a return call. Well, first thing in the morning Suncoast plumbers called and we're out here in 30 minutes. They we're friendly and efficient and completed the job in about 20 minutes, cleaned up and gave me instructions to wait to use the hose until the cemented dried. I was so appreciative of how fast they responded. Luckily we're only out of water for that one evening. on a side note , neither of the other plumbers even bothered to call us back. We had our new home completed November - 2018. The builder used Suncoast Plumbing to install all of the plumbing work. We brought with us from our previous home, our Kinetico Water Softener System. Since Suncoast Plumbing did the new home plumbing installation, we decided to check with them to see if they do Water Softener installs also. Since they did and the price for the install was very reasonable, we scheduled them to install our system on 12.27.2018 At approximately 0827 hrs., Tom K. arrived to install the system. Tom did a GREAT and through job, cleaned up after the install. Tom was strictly business which we really appreciated. If there were ever any problems to be sure to call them. I had called another plumber out who replaced the flush valve on a toilet I had. The toilet started leaking after that. I called Suncoast and the plumber came out and told me the toilet I had needed a special flush valve and he needed to order it. He thought it would be 3-5 days to get that in. He also told me he would write something up that the last installation was done inappropriately. I paid the $140 service call. The technician said it should not be much more. After a week with no response I called them and They told me they would check on it. I never got a call back. I called two days later and still no reply. I called again the next day and Tara was very helpful with me. We got the toilet fixed and it is working well. I then received a bill for an additional $234. I looked up the flush values for a Mansfield toilet and could not find anything over $40. When I called to ask if they may have charge the original service call twice. Crystal was very rude and dismissive. Told me my impatience was part of the problem and you get what you pay for. I would not use these people again, because if there are any issues you will not get courteous help. read more

I am the kind of person who likes to maintain equipment before an emergency arises. So, with no real emergency, but with the knowledge that my water heater was aging, I sought a new one. I got two other estimates from other plumbing companies, both who quoted me a price between $900 and $1100 to replace my old water heater. I am glad I called Suncoast because their price was $755 and that included a side job of toilet tank parts replacement for one of my bathrooms. I highly recommend this company. They did excellent work and cost me less than what I would have paid otherwise. read more

After two visits 6 days apart and three different technicians. The issue is still not resolved !!! so I call them again this morning and they tell me they're going to charge me again to come back out and resolve the issue. Really $400 later you want me to pay you again for a service that should have been addressed two weeks ago when you guys came out on two different occasions. I would not recommend working with this company! Their technicians obviously do not know what they are doing it's a clogged toilet for peep sakes!!! move the toilet and snake face everywhere throughout the house still no resolution. Pros: Both technicians we had were good and nice. Company was flexible with scheduling. Cons: Sink drain clog wasn't fixed the first time even though the tech snaked the line and ran water. He did a good job, it just wasn't resolved. I called them 48 hours later. Second tech fixed it a different way. Company wanted to charge the full amount because clogs aren't warranted but this was the same issue. read more

I wish you could give a minus , came to our Condo's and charged for a snake when he did not do anything but dirty the place up, tried to scare everyone with running camera's and renting high dollar eqt. to go on the roof to snake from the top talk.... all because I guess it was late or they saw opportunity to make big bucks because it was a condo association. So we called another plumber and he went into same spot with the same type snake (maybe correct blade) and yes he worked but got our clog right out! Humm wonder why Suncoast could not do that??? Maybe chance to make high dollar with all that " special eqt" he needed, then to charge for their lack of skills or ability to get the job done. They should be embarrassed! read more

Called and asked for someone to come out and give us a price on installing a bathroom vent, and to fix a leaky exterior faucet. Service man showed up, tells us that Suncoast Plumbing and ELECTRIC no longer does electrical, fixed the exterior faucet which needed a washer. Charged $85.00 for the service call and $2.00 for the washer, total of $87.00!!!!! Wouldn't have called him out just for that if the office girl had told me that they don't do electrics anymore. Real rip off. read more

Had one of those "drip, drip, drip" situations coming from the kitchen faucet where the "O" ring needed replaced. Simple job, but hard to reach. The Suncoast tech said "You need a knew faucet" without even looking at the problem. We said "It IS a new faucet. Just need you to tighten the seat at the seal". After fumbling around we heard "Oh shit" coming from under the sink as water exploded everywhere. He panicked and tore the faucet upward, exposing the fact he had over-tightened, split the "O" ring and crushed the metal wrapped hose. Then he threw the faucet onto the counter, breaking the faucet into pieces. He left and never returned, while we repurchased another faucet, called another plumbing company and had it installed (on a Saturday) without charging overtime. They said they knew SUNCOAST was underhanded and felt bad for us. Within a week we received a full bill from SUNCOAST with a threat of legal action if we didn't pay. read more
