I believe i saw and tasted fresh garlic on the plate too, which was another unique and refreshing spin on their mexican dishes and shows they're willing to step up the quality and originality to make it in this area. I'll update my review when I come for dinner, because I did notice that the lunch portion seemed a tad bit small, but their salsa alone is enough to make you want to return.

It's was around 5 pm and I'm a diabetic and that turned out to be the only lunch I had. IT WAS NOT EDIBLE! Too much blue on the inside dining, too much noise from grinding ice for margaritas. The chicken quesadilla was offered plain or spicy and I chose spicy not knowing or informed it cost more. They posted up next to The Southern Brew in Van Zandt County on hwy 80 not only did we wait for our breakfast for over an hr--thats not why the bad review at all because it "was going to be so worth it" IT WAS NOT. Not even close. So disappointed. Friendly staff, but the food sucked- I mean you could get a better burrito at sonic and I don't even like sonic like that. Let me describe the food. We ordered a few different kinds of burritos and the cattails as well as the sweet cheeks. The burritos: egg inside had no seasoning whatsoever I mean not even SALT or PEPPER. The potatoes also NONE and you could tell they were the frozen kind. My husband was lucky to have ordered the one with the bacon on it because bacon is naturally salty so his had a slight touch of flavor. The salsas: red was straight up commercially bought Pace "hot" sauce. The green was just meh. The cattails: the worst not even our cat wanted them. They were basically DEEP & I mean VERY DEEP FRIED overdone breakfast corndogs even Sonic regular corndogs are better in quality, taste & price than these were. The sweet cheeks were basically simple as ever so you cant go wrong in them...just store bought Hawaiian rolls with sausage & Cheese in them you know the regular stuff nothing special. I would not recommend. We should have just went down to the taco lady down by Edgewood Park for her fresh burritos thoseeeeee I highly recommend. Fresh meat of your choice like tripe, al pastor, steak, tounge, chicken, and more to choose from , sour cream, Spanish rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes avocado, cilantro, oñion or however you like for like $4!! They are the smallest condiment containers and one is not enough for two tacos, if you're only giving one container for two tacos give bigger condiment containers. Asked for salt and pepper and got one tiny pack of each and an attitude. One pack of pepper for four tacos is not a good thing and then to get an attitude is ridiculous. Didn't get my coffee, with requested cream and Splenda when handed my tacos. Asked for it again and was told we don't have Splenda. Then I get handed coffee with one Splenda pack with a nasty look. Good luck treating customers like that. Salt, pepper and Splenda are a small cost to losing a repeat customer.
