After months of reaching out and fighting to get our money back, I figured I'd share with you all my experience with Hermosa Grace LLC. This is the first negative review I have written given the horrendous and unbelievable service I received. Shannan Rawcliffe of Hermosa Grace LLC breached our contract and detrimentally ruined my wedding. Shannan was supposed to provide flowers and services in a timely manner for my wedding on July 18, 2021. We had agreed for her to arrive around 9AM and to have all the bridal bouquets ready by 1PM for the First Look. However, once 1PM came around, the flowers still haven't arrived and there was no communication as to what was going on. I had my venue, wedding coordinator, and maid of honor call Shannan to see what was happening and when was she going to arrive, but she ignored all our phone calls. I called again and was finally able to get ahold of her once during the entire day at 1:03PM and she said that she'll be there soon. At 2:19PM, she texts saying her team is almost there, but they didn't arrive until after 3PM. Mind you, we needed the flowers for the First Look at 1PM and all the photo sessions immediately after, and guests are expected to arrive around 4:30PM and the ceremony starts promptly at 5PM. Upon arrival, after 3PM, Shannan's two associates arrived and nothing was prepared or premade, so they were working on everything once they were on-site, and there was no sense of urgency from her associates to get the work done given the severe lateness. Shannan and her team delayed the entire timeline of our wedding as we had no idea of what was happening or when to expect the flowers to come so that we can have our photoshoots and ceremony set up. Everyone was waiting for Shannan and her team because she kept telling us that they'll be there "soon". I have tried reaching out to her over the phone and have left several voicemails. If I had not kept calling to check up on the status, they would have missed my wedding completely. When I was able to get ahold of her over the phone, she said that everything is already prepped and prepared, they just need to load the van and get over to the venue. Not only did her team arrive 6 hours later than scheduled, nothing was prepped or prepared, they were extremely rude and disrespectful, and had no sense of urgency. Her team arrived about 15 minutes into my portrait session with the entire wedding party, well after our First Look and couple's portrait session ended. The boutonnieres and bouquets weren't even ready for our portrait session with the entire wedding party as they were still putting those together on-site. We paid a lot of money for a photographer and videographer to capture this once in a lifetime moment AND we had no flowers in our pictures! The two associates were on the side arranging all the bouquets together, one by one, and we had to have our wedding coordinator and venue step in to help them speed up the process... how embarrassing!! We had planned a wedding portrait session under the ceremony pergola with a drone setup for the video shoot, but we couldn't do it because Shannan's team was trying to setup the flowers for the pergola. At that point, already hours behind schedule, and many missed planned photo sessions, we decided we didn't want the pergola decorated so we can get our drone photo session in. However, because Shannan's team was working by the pergola and didn't want to move to another location, we were unable to get the video footage and drone shot we paid our videographer for. On top of arriving extremely late to our wedding day, the flowers weren't even what we agreed to or discussed. The colors and types of flowers were so off, I even sent my Pinterest board along with dozens of pictures and examples. Shannan assured us that she would personally be at our wedding to set help up and oversee everything however, she never came. Apart from that, they didn't provide the goods and services in our contract! We did not get the two corsages. We also did not get the flowers for the welcome sign. Our venue had to step in and help make the groom's boutonnieres, nothing was prepared when they said to expect everything to be already set up, and none of Shannan's associates came after the ceremony to move the flowers to the reception, I did not get any table runners, candles, etc. during the reception. We had to pay our wedding coordinator and venue to help set up extra votive candles and help spread them throughout all the tables. The groomsmen and our personal attendant had to make their own boutonnieres as Shannan's team seemed perfectly fine coming late and taking their sweet time with the work. I don't even know what to say, this experience was so upsetting for both myself and my husband. We had a very detailed timeline that we've shared with all our vendors which was all derailed when none of the services we paid for was provided at the time we needed it to. read more

From the reviews and referral from my wedding planner, I expected the flowers to look amazing. Unfortunately, i did not have that same experience. I never met/spoke with the florist but I was reassured that the florist was well aware of my vision for my wedding. For my bouquet, I asked for a all fresh flowers for the ceremony and silk flowers for the reception. I wanted a tear drop bouquet with navy, white and dusty blue flowers. The bridesmaids bouquet were supposed to be navy blue and white roses only since they were wearing dusty blue. The boutonnière's for fathers and groomsmen were supposed to have one white rose and a dusty blue flower. The mothers of the bride and groom's flowers were white roses. I ended up with indigo, royal blue, white and a spec of dusty blue NON FRESH flowers for my bridal bouquet. Not only were the flowers NOT my color theme, but the construction was atrocious! There was a black (plastic? I don't know) block holding everything together in the back of the bouquet and lots of hot glue holding everything together for dear life. The ribbon that wrapped all of my flowers together looked worn and it looked like instead of cutting the ribbon, someone ripped it. If they (hermosa flowers) did not know how to construct a tear drop bouquet then that should've been communicated to the client or wedding planner for changes to be made or they should have practiced how to construct one before my wedding and (what seems like) not the day of. The weight of my bouquet was way too heavy. I had to hold it with two hands walking down the aisle to make sure it doesn't tip over and my matron of honor was shaking from holding her and my bouquet. ALL of the flowers looked like they've been sitting in a car or just outside in a box all day and at the last minute someone put it together. In totality, they were not fresh at all. The flowers for my bridesmaids were the same color that mine ended up being and the dye from the flowers got on their hands which ended up on their dresses. The mothers' flowers broke off in the beginning of the reception. The manager from my venue picked the best looking boutonnière for my husband. As soon as she took it out the plastic, it sort of fell apart and she had to pin it even more to his suit so it doesn't fall over. By the time of the reception, I saw it fall right in his hand and I had to remove it completely. We have spoken to our wedding planner and we were able to receive a partial refund. Shannon was amazing. My wife and I hired her for our 2-Day wedding and gave her a laundry list of "to-dos". Shannon not only did everything from cutting flowers to organizing appetizer plates, she also made sure all my guests needs were serviced (200 guests each day). Another huge deal was she made sure the grounds/food areas were neat and clean. Shannon communicated very clear on our virtual meetings and was on time and prepared our event days. I wouldn't recommend them if they offered their "services" for free. The lack of follow up and response....you might as well cook the food and do all the planning yourself. After we signed the contract and paid the deposit we received no communication. We would reach out on a weekly basis and never get a response until we said that we would like to part ways. Shannan and her team went above and beyond catering a non-profit Gala that I was an event planner for. The food tasted amazing and the presentation was beautiful. Shannon and her team went above and beyond for a wedding that was planned with such short notice (5 days!!!). Our family and guests could not believe how this was pulled off so beautifully and seamlessly. Everything from the food, decor, set up, and details was just perfect. Their professionalism is unmatched. I have been to several weddings in the tri-state area and overseas and have not come across such a team of people that listen to your must haves and deliver. I worked with Shannan for about 9 months while wedding planning. She was absolutely amazing. She was a sense of calm throughout the hectic process. She did my centerpieces, completed my decor, rented me out amazing add ons and linens, and did a wonderful job with my ceremony and reception set up. She was always quick to respond and was very professional. During the wedding she checked in on me just the right amount to ensure I was doing okay and she managed my vendors perfectly. The result was a smooth wedding day and a memorable party. She went above and beyond and I am grateful for all of her help and kindness. I would recommend her to anyone.
