I called their residential dept. to ask about buying some sizable Greenspire Linden trees for our backyard, & from that time on received nothing but superior service. Within 24 hrs they looked at their inventory & said my husband & I could come to see what was available & choose the trees. We looked & picked out the trees that same day & was notified by the crew supervisor that the trees would be planted 48 hrs later. The three men who planted them also did an outstanding job. They knew exactly what needed to be done but also asked our opinion before beginning to do the planting. All three worked equally, continuously until planting was completed & the clean-up afterwards was impressive--- the yard area & street area where the trees were unloaded. Also later I had called to see if the trees should be staked-- ours had not been. The crew supervisor called me that same Fri to leave the message that they'd return to do it first thing the following Mon morning & they did. So I can honestly say that every person I/we spoke with was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and the "follow-through" left nothing unanswered. I also can say with no hesitation that getting these trees was better than getting any new piece of furniture--- should last a lifetime. We contacted Hermes to design and install a community garden in Cedar Creek. The designer, Keith Runyan, came up with a great concept that ultimately won the bid. Keith was engaged, responsive, and cooperative throughout. Because the garden was planned for native species, it took some effort on his part to get the plants but they arrived in great shape. The Hermes crew that delivered the plants and mulch were pleasant, helpful and hardworking, and worked with our crew of student volunteers for the full installation. The garden looks great and thanks to the rainy Spring is off to a good start. Hermes also maintains all of the common landscape areas in our community, and they have been a significant improvement over their predecessors. I almost never give 5 stars, just because-- but I can certainly recommend Hermes. read more

We just finished a total relandscape of my front yard complete with a large limestone retaining wall, porch extension and new sidewalks, sprinkler/irrigation system, new plantings and sod. Pricing was comparable to other companies with less of a reputation and workmanship was first rate. I get complements from neighbors and people walking by. The project took longer than expected due to excessive rain and me adding an additional patio in the middle of the project but the results were well worth waiting for. The entire team, from Mitch and Armando to the landscape crews were great to work with and all questions were addressed in a very timely matter. Our landscape designer, Keith Runyan was extremely knowledgeable and did a fantastic job enhancing the landscape design we had in mind. The work was done on time and turned out better than we could have imagined. I am responsible for the grounds upkeep of a 164 unit homes association covering 19 acres. After using two previous mowing contractors with which many homeowners were unhappy, we contracted with Hermes for 2016. The attention to detail and edging is first rate. We also used the company for the total upkeep of the landscaping, as opposed to using various contractors as in the past. The landscape designer listened to our needs and wishes and made a design we loved. The crew arrived on time, worked quickly and quietly. They repaired/replaced landscape timbers which were rotting, constructed one new raised bed, installed one large ground-level planting bed, repaired steps up to the deck, planted all plants in designated places, mulched, and cleaned up when the finished.
