Mike came out to take a look at some arborvites that were turning brown. He was punctual, thorough and very kind. He assessed the trees and provided suggestions for how to mitigate the damage. It was a wonderful, stress free experience and I will definitely use them again! read more

This is not the same company I remember in the past. If I could give a 0 I would. I hired this company for a second time to remove a tree that is growing and interfering with another tree. They were suppose to have done the work yesterday but did not show up, not even a call or a text which I thought, isn't that 101, at least a call. Then they call today with an excuse why they didn't do the job yesterday and said we may be able to make it today. Folks this is exactly what I was told. I had hired this company a couple years ago to plant a couple trees and the same thing, no show, no call, I had to call them. The excuse that time was the tree was not available which I had already paid for by the way. Do what you want with this review but it's the honest truth. There are too many good companies out there to have to put up with this crap. Needless to say I'll never call this company ever again for anything. read more

We recently had to take down an established maple tree on our lot due to the structural integrity. Arbor masters provided us a quote with a reasonable estimate. The team that came out were friendly and professional, and cleaned the site up quickly while they worked. I'm giving four stars only because the communication does not flow readily, you are not notified until the day before that the service is scheduled. Otherwise, a great job on the removal of the tree. read more

Arbor Masters helped me take care of two dead trees I had in my yard. Despite being close to my fence and garden, the trees were removed quickly without damage. They also left my lawn in good condition. I subtracted 1 star because my initial communication with Arbor Masters was difficult. But, after I mentioned the communication issue, it was quickly resolved. The rest of my communication with the company was seamless. read more

I have used them in the past and needed service recently to trim and evaluate a river birch that has been losing more than its normal summer shedding. Called them on a Friday and was promised the following Monday that the technician was preparing a proposal. It's Thursday night and after two follow ups today still nothing. I'm going to call another company. Very disappointed. read more

We had a wind storm one night and awoke to a tree in our backyard beginning to split. This tree is over 100ft tall and probably weighs thousands of pounds so every time the wind blew you could see the split getting worse. It was a bit scary because this tree is so close to our house and the way it was splitting it would land on our roof, probably bust through a couple windows on its way to destroying my neighbors fence. I called Arbor Masters and they sent out an arborist the next day. Arborists are experts in everything related to trees, unlike others who are just guys with a tall ladder and chainsaw. Rick was super knowledgeable and gave me some advice on our to strap the tree to keep it from getting worse. He agreed this was an emergency and recommended we don't stand underneath it! While they were scheduling work 3 weeks out he fast tracked our project so they came out first thing Monday morning! It really helped my peace of mind as every night any noise I heard had me worried that the tree was coming down. Arbor Masters crew were very professional and did an amazing job taking down the tree quickly and most importantly safely. They had all the right equipment and I could tell their team had tons of experience. Would highly recommend them to anyone who has a need to remove a giant tree. read more

These guys were very professional, friendly, and efficient! I would definitely use them again! I had some tall weeds and a tree that needed to come down. And although we had to deal with some weather delays, they finally came out and did above my expectations! They were here when they said they would be and finished the job before they said they would. My yard looks great. They took down the tree and cleaned my yard up. It looks like a new yard! And they cleaned up tremendously well when they were done. There aren't loose branches, piles of leaves, or any sign at all that they were even here except the missing tree :) Thanks guys for the work and professionalism!! read more

Arbor Masters - Finished area - Tree Services Near Me - Shawnee, Kansas

We needed to have two monster elms trimmed, cut back. The trees were over our home and cables and the neighbors. Old family trees I love very much. Five men worked on our trees for several hours in the lift and climbing. We watched frequently how they worked together and communicated. I can't believe how carefully they executed difficult to reach and overly large pieces. We are so impressed. The clean up was amazing. We wanted large pieces of wood kept and they did an outstanding job of leaving the area better than they found it. I found myself emotional and they were kind to listen to me and confirmed the big need to get this done for our home and the tree. One gentleman shared a concern about the tree's condition in a few places and options we might want to consider. They were quite knowledgeable. We are very grateful! Thank you okc crew that worked 6-7-24 for us. read more

They're the best in the business. You can't go wrong! Your trees will thank you!!!!

We have had a tree with a leaf fungus disease that had been hard to get under control. After wastefully spending $$$$$ with the red trucks with no results we decided with guidance of Family Tree to call Arbor Masters. They were quick to respond and took the time to look at all our trees. Set up a plan of treatment for the maple. Also provided free advise and care tips for our other trees on our property. Came out on time and the treatment recommended and used WORKED flawlessly. No leaf disease all summer and fall. Tree filled up with new and mature leaves leaving us with a healthy looking tree in our front yard. We HIGHLY recommend these folks for tree services. Thank you Family Tree for this recommendation. read more

I can't tell you how incredibly impressed we were with the work that @ArborMasters did for us!! Very professional, amazing care & attention-to-detail, exceptional clean-up, and reasonably priced! Arbor Masters - Tree Services Near Me - Shawnee, Kansas

Quality of service is worth the price. Quite impressed with the level of detail provided with the estimate of service. They walked my property and explained all the items and recognized a few preventative sprays were not really needed since the original estimate. The technician who came to prune roots on 5 trees explained the process and did an outstanding job. Very impressed with the service, professionalism and attention to detail. read more

Really great experience with Arbor Masters! The bid was prompt and fair. The work was able to be done quickly and the team that did the work was amazing! Extremely efficient, clean and fast! Thanks - you made moving into our new home much less stressful and much more fulfilling. Thanks Arbor Masters! read more

The estimate came quickly but with the number of storms impacting the KC area it took some time to get the work done. Once scheduled, the work was done with professionalism, making our trees and shrubs healthier, better looking and no longer the embarrassment of the neighborhood. I look forward to work with Adam again and will have him and Arbor Masters back on a regular basis. read more

Looking for a tree service? There is always the guys who drive through the neighborhood in an F-150 pick up carrying a chainsaw (low cost) or certified arborists. I have tried it both ways and have found that while F-150 guy is cheaper it can cost more in the long run. Arbor Masters uses certified arborists (people who really do know about trees), bonded and insured workmen. When trees are trimmed "properly" they are healthier and usually do not need annual trimming. I have used Arbor Masters a couple of times now and have always been impressed with respectful, prompt, and professional manner of all their folks I have been in contact with. Since I started using them (rather than the F-150 guys) I have gotten many compliments from neighbors on our trees. Like a quality haircut, rather than annual trimming I only have my trees trimmed every two or three years. I have also noted that because of their attention to details like cleaning out bulk from the trees, my lawn is more healthy. Yes, I am a serious fan and they are who I immediately go to for tree service. read more

I would be careful with this company as they had a couple of employees driving a truck on the interstate on December 22, 2022, and threw an object out the window which struck my daughter and her fiancé's vehicle shattering her passenger side window chipping, her front windshield chip in the car door and breaking and cracking the side mirror. What this object was I have no idea, but obviously had to be something of substance to do this much damage. My daughter did contact her insurance company and the company is refusing to help with any of the damages so now my daughter will have to pay while her insurance company fights, their insurance company for this. Not to mention it was -40° with the wind chill and she had to drive this vehicle back to Kansas with a shattered window with tape. My husband and I own our own construction company and never would we tolerate such things to happen with knowledge! I hope that the company sees this and the employees are held responsible what they did. We just thank God that the accident wasn't much worse. With it being the blizzard like conditions, and throwing something out of your truck! As soon as the men seen what they had done early, sped up and drove as fast as they could to get out of sight, my daughter had to drive 95 miles an hour just to catch up with them and get a picture of the truck and license plate. pathetic read more

I didn't even get the chance to have a service! The poor communication started from the beginning. My neighbor with the exact same type and age of tree has an appointment, I called 3x and spoke to 4 people in a matter of 3 weeks to get a bid that was hundreds more than my neighbors. I was trying to do them a favor and get my tree services on the same day with months notice to save them a trip and possible money. Instead of apologizing about never getting back to me Lisa blamed everything on her co workers to me, not professional. I asked her to justify the cost difference and she couldn't. I do not recommend wasting your time like I did. I gave them way too many chances. read more

We moved into a house with very large oak trees that hadn't been properly trimmed or maintained in years. The Arbor Masters crew was very knowledgeable and efficient in getting us on the schedule and completing the job. I was worried the yard would get torn up, but after they cleaned up the trimmed branches, it looked better than when they had arrived. read more

We had a tree that was starting to fall over into our neighbors yard over a new fence & shed, and I called Arbor Masters first thing in the morning & Lisa was out right away to look at the situation. They came out later that week & did an outstanding job taking the tree down. Most of the branches & stuff were in our neighbors yard & they were carful not to let anything fall on the shed or fence. It was also very hot that day, which made it that much more difficult. They cleaned up everything & were very professional about it. We have used them a few times before & would recommend them again. I hired this company to remove a tree from my front yard. Shortly after that, we had a major storm which resulted in many downed trees in my area. I understood this might delay my tree being removed so I didn't think much of it. Two weeks after the storm however I still had not heard a word from this company and really just wanted to know a general timeline of when my tree would be removed. I had to call and email multiple times to get an answer out of them. Once the tree had been removed, the crew left a orange traffic cone in my yard. I thought this was to indicate where the stump was for another crew to come and remove it, so I didn't think much of it at first. When I looked closer, they'd actually broken a manhole cover which covered the water main. No one contacted me to let me know this had happened or what they were doing about it. Again, I've called several times and gotten no answers. As of today the cone is still in my yard. The woman at their office claims they'll get on it right away, but so far, they have not. Do not hire this company!! I'm sure there are others that can remove or trim trees, and stay in reasonable contact with their customers. read more

I contacted 3 tree removal services all on referral all in e same price range and ultimately chose Arbor Masters. I signed the contract, sent it in and never heard a word,p. I called and emailed several times, finally received communication back and was told I would be put on the schedule, which happened to be while I was away on vacation. Upon my return, I still had 2 dead trees and NO COMMUNICATION? Once again, I had to contact them who promptly stated that storm damage took priority over my service, WHAT???? I was scheduled early in the week, WELL BEFORE ANY STORM DAMAGE occurred. I was asked to be patient, as if my las I of patience was reflective of insensitivity to the poor folks with storm damage, right. How about its just POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, and sadly putting it back on the customer is actually just not very nice. read more

I don't like to write bad reviews, but sometimes horrible customer service just needs to be pointed out. I need to be clear that this review is not about their tree services, if they exist, but rather their inability to follow through! I contacted Arbor Masters about two dead trees in my back lawn. A very nice lady assured me of a date for which a specific man was suppose to come out for an evaluation. I felt good about my experience so I decided to wait, even though one of my trees is splitting quite badly! The date came and went, no letter, no call, no nothing!! So I gave them a few extra days, I mean perhaps they were swamped with all of the non-storms happening or something. Nothing still. Next approach was using their online tool. Again I was told my request had been forwarded and I would have someone out so inspect my problem trees...nothing again! Are you kidding me? I now do not have time to wait on these peeps to decided when they want to follow through, so if anyone has a company that actually shows and does their jobs, I'd love their contact info!!!! Arbor Masters, welcome to my never again list!! read more

I had a river birch in my neighbor's backyard removed by Arbor Masters. The price was very reasonable considering some of the other estimates i received. The work was done just a couple of days after I accepted their estimate. The crew of 2 was courteous and efficient, removing the tree in about 2 and a half hours and hauling everything out to the front of the house. Shortly afterward, a truck came by and removed everything. I would have no problem recommending them. read more

The outstanding experience started with Skylar she helped set me up with the best plan for me and my new home. The technician that arrived was so very polite and professional plus he went over and above to make sure I knew what was going on. Aaron arrived right on time and he took the time to not only complete the inspection, but walked me through the set up of the system, made sure all the zones were set correctly and each sprinkler did what it should. I would highly recommend Arbor Masters - and especially Aaron for any future work! read more

Arbor Masters did a great job! I didn't realize how much my trees needed trimming until I saw how many dead limbs they cut down in addition to the ones I originally called about. They were professional and cleaned up well after they were finished. The only thing they didn't do was let me know when they were finished to let me inspect their work. I called the office to let them know about this and a very nice lady apologized and thanked me for letting her know as well as assuring me that it would be addressed promptly so it won't happen to future customers. She also walked me through posting this review so I could get a free $25 Lowe's gift card. read more
