Stay away from this tree service!!! After trimming my tree the tree began to shed all of its leaves and is almost bare. When I contacted them for help on how to protect the tree Beth told me she would call me back but never did. I called and left over 4 messages with her and she never calls back. I had to hire an Arborist to help try and salvage the tree and unsure it it will survive. Do yourself a favor and call someone else that has an Arborist on staff. Recently had a need to trim trees and remove some shrubs from the front of my home. D&B Tree Service was fabulous to work with from obtaining a quote to finishing the job. Very professional staff and great communication along the way. Tree trimming was top-notch. Shrub removal was good, although there was some remaining debris that was not hauled off (including some large roots that were not taken care of). Not a huge deal overall - if I would have noticed it when the crew was still around, I would've pointed it out. Tree trimming for two large trees was $600 and shrub removal was $25/each. Fair pricing based on the service that I received. I would have the crew return again to trim trees in the future, but might look elsewhere for shrub servicing. read more

I called to schedule an estimate and they no call, no showed. So I called back the day after the estimate was supposed to happen and they said "they couldn't find my house"? So they rescheduled me for another date. Once again, no call, no show. Don't bother with them, they're not even going to show up for an estimate. read more

We had a big pin oak in our front yard that needed to be removed, so we naturally called three qualified contractors to compare prices. D & Be was far and away the most competitive offer. On top of great pricing, their communication from start to finish was unbelievably strong, and something that I think all contractors should strive for. I think they they did an awesome job with tree removal/trimming after a pretty bad snow storm and were reasonably priced (less than 3 other quotes we got). We would definitely use them in the future. The only reason I have a 4 star is because the scheduling was a little unorganized and I would have liked a better communication latform. It would have made me feel a little better about scheduling my first tree issue as a first time home owner. I had several trees cut down and removed from my front yard by D & B Tree Service. I would not use this company again nor would I recommend it for tree removal. The owner, Dutch, personally visited my property & submitted the bid for the work needed. It included removal of the trees and stump grinding. Also included in the bid was the removal of several large shallow tree roots from 1 of the trees that were growing near the surface or above the ground and impeding growth of the grass in my front lawn. I paid in full the day of the tree service The tree roots have never been completely removed. My front yard has large bare brown spots where grass will not grow, even with new grass seed. I have made multiple phone calls to the office. Twice Dutch was scheduled to come to my home and he "no showed". Later I was told they were "too busy" with new clients. Terrible service! I have now contracted with another company who will remove the roots so grass will grow in the damaged area of my lawn. read more

No need to search for tree service any longer. D&B was VERY reasonable cost wise. Then their service! Dutch told me they would be out at 7:30 AM, with my experience with other contractors I assumed that meant 9. No chance, they were here at 7:25 and went straight to work. The took down my 50' pine and ground the stump and roots in 2 hours. They completely cleaned up as well. No chance I am going anywhere else in the future! read more
