Made an appointment for an estimate - "Bob" (if that's his real name) showed for that and we agreed on a price - after that: no show, no call. I called twice during the week to check on when he would be here, left voicemails, no return calls. I'm guessing "no job too small" is a lie. Was only a quoted $600.00 job - maybe 2 -3 hours at most. I got four bids. Budget came in @20% below two of the bids (from competitors with smaller crews who may not have been insured properly), and was less than half the cost of the bid from a larger competitor. They did the work within a week, quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up well. I've twice used larger tree services where they sent one guy to bid, and a crew without that guy to do the work. You have to pay attention and make sure absolutely everything the bidder said is noted in the estimate, or there'll be upcharges for additional work because the crew just has the paperwork to go off of, (and the bidder will be "unreachable" on the day). This is tricky when you have a lot of trees, and/or they mail the bid to you later, so you can't correct it/add detail on the spot. Bob's estimate in my case was a number written on the back of his business card, because the work involved just two trees. But he showed up on the day with his crew and did everything as agreed for the price he said. He said he believes in giving work proposals, not estimates. So he takes pride in sticking to the price he quotes for the work he scoped with you. And it's a good price. read more

Only use this company if you hate a tree and want it destroyed. I asked them to remove some wind damage at very top of the tree and trim shape it evenly. They cut one side of the tree off to the trunk, scared the bark in many spots. and left the top saying they could not reach and charged me $500.00. read more

Neighbor had this service, of course it was a rental hone so no care is given in removal. Tree was left partially cut down and had multiple transient people coming into the yard of a three-woman-rented home in Overland Park. Now I am watching as these transients are coming and going to pick up wood. The old man that own this place, Karen's grandpa, told me the best way to fix my yard was throw new souls down and add grass seed. Um, no thanks. Also, did I mention they actually used my driveway as a workspace... I would give this place negative reviews if I could. Incompetent ownership, and even worse way to treat tenants who moved in less than a month ago. ***Update Day Three*** No update on day two other than having to call the owner and tell him to move his gigantic truck out from in front of my driveway in the event I had to leave. I am not sure why, other than the owner being hit with every single stick from the idiot tree. If you are on a budget for tree trimming/removal, just realize you DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND YOUR NEIGHBORS WILL GET EVEN MORE in the form or HARASSMENT. Unprofessional and seriously not worth hiring. Not to mention when they dropped the last part of the truck it shook my house so bad it cracked two of my windows on my home.
