We would have loved a tour, but they were booked for the day (go early to make sure you get a spot!), but the tasting was a great second option! For $15 you try six wines from their very large list. They'll teach you about each one too. If you like bourbons or whiskey, I'd highly recommend their Cream Sherry - it won 12th best American wine at the Decanter Wold Wine Competition (The world's largest and most influential wine competition) in recent years (just enjoy slowly - it's 19%!!). Also, they make their wines very affordable! From $11-$40, everything is in reach! (They do have a $75 reserve Norton on the list as of May 2026.) You can enjoy the restaurant on site, shop alllll the wine accessories, relax on their patio above the hills of vines, play a game of corn hole, and pose for a few photos. Several other couples who arrived around the same time were welcomed immediately, but we were left standing there without any acknowledgment. It was uncomfortable and made us feel overlooked in a way no quest should experience. I can't say why we were treated differently, but the contrast was hard to ignore. Because of the lack of attention, we ended up buying only a few bottles- even though we originally planned to purchase two full cases. We also chose not to buy anything from the stores afterward, which is unusual for us, but the experience at the beginning made it difficult to fully appreciate the visit. For a winery with such a strong reputation, I expected a much more welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. This was a one- star experience for us, and we won't be returning.

Adam Puchta is on the 7th generation of being owned by the same family. I hope the current kids love their life at the winery! They're constantly considering how to make the experience better for their patrons too - like even planting a cold hardy Verona grape closest to the road for folks to enjoy for photos. They grow many of their own grapes (Verona, Vidal Blanc, Vivant, Vignoles, and Norton), and have satellite vineyards where they grow other varieties such as chambourcin grapes. Venue is outdoors so beware that their is NO place to go inside if bad weather and they charge extra for every little thing!!! For the price of the venue, you get nothing else from them. So many venues out there that will cater to a bride and groom. you cannot decorate reception area until 6pm, which means YOU are NOT decorating it due to being at the wedding sight. more money to spend as you would need to hire someone to decorate it for you. Guests cannot be at reception area until 630, so by time everyone is shuttled up there, do dinner, cake, toasts etc, you will be lucky to get 2 hours of music and dance. It has to end at 10pm in spite of the contract stating you get venue to 11pm, that last hours is so YOU can clean it for them since they do NOTHING!!! Bride and Groom suite are on a hill that you get at 3pm, so have hair and make up done before you get there a you get time to change and then go do photos before the ceremony. Not sure why she wont let them have these sooner, no one is using them. Bride will walk down hill that has a gravel path to wedding sight, I just see issues with that, falling down, twisting an ankle, dress being filthy. We tried to work with her, she was very difficult. She took our money and refuses a refund of any kind because she is a greedy you know what!!! I hope these reviews are worth it, I paid for them so enjoy these Simeen!! They also say they can cater a smaller wedding 75 or less. We asked about this and were basically told we really should use a caterer!!

We did a tasting and she didn't want to explain anything. Didn't try to sell us anything, literally poured and walked away in between. Ironically we went to a winery down the road (which was an amazing experience) and they indicated this person we talked about doesn't even really like wine! I'm hoping the other staff members are better.
