They always treated their employees with respect and their residents with even more respect. Every nurse, aid, and med tech was as good at their job as anywhere else I've ever been. Not only do they physically care for peoples loved ones they also care for them mentally and emotionally. They are not just residents who are going to come and go, each and every one of them are seen as extra grandparents or even mentors. Every person that enters that place is touched by the giving and loving people that work there. I would 100% trust any of my family members there.

My…read moremain complaint is they have little 19 inch TV's in all the rooms, other than the people who have their own TV and have been there for a long time and have been Grandfathered in) which we all know how small that is and the sound of those are awful also. You would think that if you pay 4000.00 a month they would put in decent size TV's or would let you bring your own. Which they used to and now they have a different rule, you have to use theirs. We have talked to the director and she will not budge. This is not wanting special treatment this is a disability!! My mother wears hearing aids which one of her ears is basically gone anyway, and has macular degeneration and is legally blind in one eye and can't see well out of the other and she just can't see those 17 inch TV's good enough to tell what is going on, and the sound on those makes it so muffled. **** I just checked and according to the ADA Title III the nursing home has to accommodate her because of her vision impairment and hearing impairment which includes but no limited to acquisition or modification of equipment. Which would mean THEY would have to provide her a bigger TV which has a better sound , but she IS NOT ASKING for THEM to provide, she just wants her own bigger flat screen. But she is in excellent health besides those two things. Does everything for herself and the caregivers do not have to wait on her hand and foot like the others. You would think they could allow her this one pleasure in her last years. She is 96. Other than that she likes everything else about the nursing home. Everyone is nice and the food is good. But gosh New Haven Care Center spend some money on some quality things. I know that buying the quantity of TV's. you would buy they would be really cheap. So how about taking care of the older people and allow them some luxury, or allow those in NEED to furnish their own!! ADA TITLE III

I feel like they are really caring and try to help, but during my overwhelming anxiety I feel like things were said that made me feel not cared about. There was pain and I made it known but the drilling continued without helping me feel comfortable first.

Dr. Paz & his office are wonderful people to work with. I've moved and there are many dentists that do implants near me but I won't go to anyone but Laser Comfort Dentistry.
