We didn't end up staying there, but one of my girls noticed Texis Flower Shop and suggested supporting a local business. Elizabeth was super helpful when I described the colors and styles I wanted, and she gave me lots of options. I had a large wedding was hoping to stay under 3K for 20 centerpieces, 6 bouquets and 6 boutonnieres, and a few arrangements for the welcome and memorial area, and she made it happen. She made it easy for me to pay over the phone, too. At the last minute, I asked to add on a few arrangements for our arch and some flower petals, and she easily made it happen. Everything was delivered and set up for us by the time we arrived at the venue in the early afternoon, and the arrangements were all so beautiful. I'm so glad I made the choice to go with Texis for wedding florals!

I especially appreciated her offering multiple design options in each area of the house where we might have to compromise due to budget restrictions. She was attentive, instinctive and thorough--and conscientious of time too--very considerate. And having watched so many episodes of "Fixer Upper" now, I am convinced she is Joanna Gaines' twin sister!! :) Her expertise is truly comparable to that of Joanna Gaines and I feel so fortunate to have her "on my team." This company is Retail store posing as an estate sale liquidator. Anyone who has gone to their…read more"sales" knows that they always have Retail pricing (sometimes higher than retail). They post their staged "sales" on estate sale websites and mislead people. It's not nice to waste people's time this way. They purchase items from estate sales and sell them to the public at retail pricing. Often times you will see the same items being displayed that didn't sell in their past sales.. this means it's their own items being sold, not a true estate sale.

RESTORE THAT CAT-DESTROYED FURNITURE AND MAKE IT CAT PROOF. Joanne is the very best at what she…read moredoes, and she's also a Los Angeles character you need to meet in person. She was a wizard at assisting us in choosing a cat-proof fabric to restore our beloved Room & Board sleeper sofa (it has the best sleeper mattress by far). Joanne has experience in cat-proofing with her own little critters, and she swore by the fabric that looked great after 7 years and counting in her house. It definitely gave us confidence, even knowing how destructive our little critters can be. Joanne was extremely responsive and most of our communication was accomplished remotely, but we also benefited greatly from visiting the office and going through fabrics. She gave us a competitive price that INCLUDED pickup and delivery, which is a rarity these days and made for an UNBEATABLE price. The sleeper sofa was no easy task for delivery, but Joanne's crew was amazing in bringing it back in pieces and reassembling on the spot! Perfectly done. The quality of the upholstering work is impeccable. Joanne's team did such a good job that we now know the areas where Room & Board skimped, as Joanne's team did not skimp! They went above and beyond, and somehow the aforementioned sleeper mattress is even MORE comfortable. I really can't say enough about the job Valley Upholstering did. They should give all furniture manufacturers a Ted Talk on marketing cat-proof products in the first instance.
