Good lord. These men hate women. When I went to pick up a trailer with a girlfriend of mine all…read morethe mechanic did was put the tailer hitch onto the ball and said we were ready to go, when a half a mile down the road we had to pull over and secure it all. This trailer would have flown off the van going around a curve/hill we were approaching. Then I called to ask if they did the NC inspections for car renewals and he said, "No, we don't". Really? How come you have a sign out front of your business that says you are the official NC inspection station and when my husband called and asked if they did the inspections they said, "Of course we do." Sexist A-HOLES!

My first experience w/ them was good but today i would say they are dishonest, abusive and don't…read moretake responsibility for their mistakes. July 29,2026, I had 2 rear tires replaced by them w/ new Hercules offbrand. Aug 4, i took the car out for the first time and drove to Asheville. The right rear tire was flat. I drove to Firestone on Patton. They said the tire had black powder from the filing of the edges to make it fit the metal rim and that the heat, the overfilling and over aggressive filing left a loose fit around the metal rim that had let air escape. I later confirmed this theory with a deputy from the Sherrif's office. Aug 5 i took the tire back to FT&W and demanded my money back. They took possession of the tire and only refunded $75, half of the tire's $150 price. They said i had hit a curb with the rear right tire and thats why it was flat. They also said there was nothing wrong w/ the tire. I have 4 witnesses that will confirm my account of events, as well as receipts of what work was done when, and by who.

They put one on and only a couple hours later the tire blew( more like crumbled ) because it was dry rotted, while he was driving it. Luckily nobody was hurt , but check the comments for the picture, this could have went really really bad on the highway and with an inexperienced child driver. We called and they said they would absolutely not refund us or even give us half back but if they had the right size tire in stock they would give us a replacement but of course turned around and said they don't have that size tire. So basically we are out of luck.
