Because we were under a serious time crunch and the weather was not very cooperative we did not have time to go home and change first so we came in jeans and shirts that had some paint on them and looked a little tired. The lady who greeted us (after some research I now know she is the owner) slowly looked us up and down and said she'd find somebody to help us. You'd think we were bedraggled orphans or homeless people the way she looked at and spoke to us. Another employee came out and was somewhat helpful. As we were looking at samples and laying things down to look at them, the owner came over to the table where we were working with another client and pretty much just pushed us out of the way, talking loudly over us and spreading out samples. Both of them were extremely rude. It was like we were not even there. We quietly took the quote they gave us and walked out. I spent the next morning calling around for a better deal and nicer people who don't discriminate against you based solely on appearances. In addition to needing budget carpet for this property we were also intending to order a lot of higher end products for a second property we are working on but after the way we were treated, I will take my business ANYWHERE but here.

The installers did an excellent job on the installation). Third, the flooring sample in the store looked nothing like what was installed. The picture on the sample showed a much lighter floor. Even the Summers rep. agreed the installed floor did not look the same as the sample or the picture of installed floor on the sample. (The Summers Interiors rep. suggested we could pay additional money for boxes of flooring and switch out the darker planks for lighter ones.) We've used Summers in the past, and didn't have any problems with receiving the correct flooring. ** We know now that if any problems arise, there could be difficulties. ** (Reworded) Update: Visited the store and were told we could contact the Coretec rep. to work out a solution. Summers Interiors was informed we would be disputing the charge, that we are their customer, not Coretec's customer. After they were told this, I was contacted the next day and told the Coretec rep. was going to submit a claim through their claims dept. We will hear back from the rep. in a week. Second update: It has only been three days and I was contacted by Summers Interiors. I was told Coretec is willing to replace the flooring for free with any flooring in the same line as the original flooring. Summers Interiors wants us to pay for the tear out and install of the replacement flooring. Third update: Visited the store again. They agreed not to charge us for the shipment of the replacement flooring, tear out of the incorrect floor and install of the replacement flooring. I have been getting follow-up calls from the Summers Interiors rep. They are diligently working to replace the flooring.

Absolutely egregious low quality, sloppy installation…read more When they installed my quartz: 1) it was crooked and not flush to anything 2) the grouting / epoxy work looked like a child had just sloppily smeared mayonnaise everywhere 3) they left epoxy and grout spilled all over the surfaces and it congealed Prior to this, they delayed the whole project by bringing out the wrong dimensions of quartz, then ordered a replacement that was the wrong quartz. The quality control here is non-existent. We have to re-do as much of it as we can - it'll cost a ton of money and be a huge time sink. An absolute nightmare

Laura was my project manager, helped me with design and was so fast to respond to all my questions. I went with the white quartz with a grey vein and it looks awesome. For the backsplash I actually found tile I really liked at floor&decor and purchased it and then Bedrock installed it. The biggest headache in any project is always the scheduling and communication between the services. I can't express enough how amazing Bedrock was at communicating with me. Keeping me in the loop at every step by texting me updates. I am in a lot of meetings all day but because they would text me to schedule the template, the install and the tile it was a breeze. We didn't miss a beat or delay the project. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend giving them a chance to help you on your next project. This was for a new build! We went through Lowe's to get our…read morecountertops which was bedrock quartz. When it was installed it was not at all like what we picked out. Color was completely in another color. Then the side piece to the stove was cut crooked and when the installers were installing the large piece, they scatched my new microwave. I had a migraine that day and was in my living room and heard them whispering, and now I know why. When contacted they were not going to do Anything to fix what they had done, including installing the right countertop that I had selected. I then went back to Lowes and the manager at the Lehi American Fork store came to my house, said that he could see that it wasn't right and that he was gonna fix it and then did nothing!!! I then emailed five different corporate offices with Lowes and finally had a lady get back to me and I worked with her for 3 months to get the problem fixed, which during all of this, my kitchen was not able to be funct and so I could not use my sink or my dishwasher. It was very inconvenient. If you're working with bedrock courts, do not trust that the sample piece that you pick out will be what you actually get. Make sure you document everything.

Pros: held true to timeframe & cost estimate, most of the cabinets look good, and the countertop…read moreinstallation went well Cons: some incorrect measuring/sizing of cabinet doors & spacers, ignores your messages & calls after you pay him the remaining balance, and yells/threatens to take you to small claims court if you say "we'd like to pay the remaining balance once the cabinet doors are fixed"... We went with Larry for a full kitchen remodel requiring cabinets that were non-standard sizes. He didn't add spacers next to the range so the cabinet doors wouldn't open, even if the side of the hinge was switched. I asked him via text to wait on cutting the cabinet doors narrower because I went to the trouble of having an electrician move the range outlet over (which enabled the range to slide further in, decreasing the amount that had to be cut off the doors). Larry acknowledged my request that day to hold off on cutting the doors via text saying "Ok" but then he cut the doors anyway, dropped them off on my doorstep without contacting me at the exact time I said I would be gone for my kids Dr appointment, and then ignored my message asking why he did what I asked him not to do. He left us with 2 very noticeably messed up cabinet doors with large gaps on both sides of our oven. His cleverly written contract states that you have to pay him in full once he is 90% done, so if 10% of the kitchen is dysfunctional or looks really bad because of an error he made, he will not go to the trouble of fixing it or trying to make it look better. He will tell you he is very good at what he does but the results don't reflect that. If you hire Larry and he doesn't make any mistakes, you will be satisfied and putting up with his unpleasant demeanor may be worth it. However, if he makes a mistake, he's not going to admit it or fix it in a satisfactory way (in fact, he will blame you), and that could leave you in a really frustrating or expensive situation as you try to fix it on your own.

His supplier and his employee made a serious error on getting us the wrong sink, and cutting the granite according to that sink. As the demolition was already completed, our hands were tied and we reluctantly accepted the sink. But he refused to take any responsibility, deflected all the blame, and didn't apologize for the situation. He ignored phone calls and texts in our attempts to talk to him to get a small refund for the sink error. He's a terrible business owner, doesn't care about his customers, only cares about the money and in being right.
