My family and I were very disappointed with our experience when trying to schedule a school tour…read more As Deaf parents, we simply asked The First Academy to provide an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter so we could fully understand the information being shared during the tour. Despite multiple emails and opportunities to reconsider, the school declined to provide an interpreter. Instead, we were told to rely on written communication, tablets, and "extra time," which are not effective or equitable substitutes for real-time ASL access. This does not provide meaningful communication for Deaf adults, especially during an important process like evaluating a potential school for our children. We were also told we could "bring our own interpreter," which shifts the burden of accessibility onto families rather than meeting basic inclusion standards. We left the interaction feeling that the school was not prepared to support the communication needs of Deaf parents. Accessibility should not be optional, and it should not depend on families paying out-of-pocket to participate. I hope the school takes this feedback seriously and re-evaluates its approach to serving Deaf and hard-of-hearing families in the future.

Piaget is a small place and does need improvement on organizing and enforcing a strict rule for ill-mannered people to follow, e.g., Parking lot use and People Loitering. Since it's a small place, parking is most of the time an issue during dismissal. The place gets so chaotic, inconsiderate people would park on handicap spaces without a handicap permit, (you would think no one would pull this kind of stunt since the place is across a police station) most times same crude people would park their vehicles right behind another parked vehicle it's so frustrating when you're the lucky one who gets blocked!... For the only bad reviewer and/or future bad reviewers of Piaget Academy or any Learning/Educational Facility, Read this and stop making excuses or blaming others!! A PARENT/GUARDIAN is a Child's FIRST and most important teacher. HOME is a Child's FIRST and CONTINUAL learning environment. IN OTHER WORDS... Then I enrolled my daughter there, also a great experience, she learnt and I cannot say I have ever had a problem with the school or the school principles. Both of them loved the school.
