Where do I begin... We started researching preschools for our son when he was still a young baby…read more Given our very high expectations we could not have been more relieved when we learned about Growing Minds and had the immense privilege of meeting Mrs. Uzma Ansari! She has undoubtedly gone above and beyond dedicating herself to early childhood education for over 20 years. Her passion and compassion along with her genuine love for all the little ones is undeniable! Our son has attended the school for almost 3 years now. We feel so blessed that his first experience with formal education has been at Growing Minds. The teachers follow Mrs. Ansari's vision and have worked alongside her for years, (which is so rare nowadays) and makes such a difference! Being a Montessori School, our son has consistently had the same teacher: Mrs. Carattini. We could not be more grateful for how loving, patient, gentle, nurturing and caring she is. The result is, our son, along with his little peers' flourish into confident, independent, curious children who have undoubtedly been positively impacted by a unique, positive learning environment. Montessori education makes a world of a difference and challenges students to remain true to who they are while cultivating a genuine love for learning. I could not recommend Growing Minds Montessori School more highly to anyone who is looking for a solid educational foundation as well as a loving, nurturing environment for their child. It was the best decision of our lives, and it will be yours too!

Now they are entering first grade well above grade level and are often regarded as the kindest and most well-behaved children. I credit much of their social and academic development to Mrs. Ansari, Mrs Carratini, and the other wonderful teachers at GMMS. If you value high quality montessori education and want a supportive and peaceful learning environment for your little one then this is the place!

Her infant teacher Ms. Mari really has become part of the family because of how much love & care she has shown my daughter every single day. Even her new teachers now that she's in the Toddler Class update me everyday through the app, address any concerns I may have and it just gives me peace of mind. Every morning coming in EVERY staff member knows my daughters name and is quick to greet and help with anything which I love because it makes her so excited to be there! Even with this pandemic going on, they have remained open to be able to service us essential workers, & I am beyond grateful for them. They are taking all the precautions necessary to try and make sure that each kiddie coming in is as safe as they can be . Thank you to all the KinderCare staff working through this crazy time because without you doing your essential jobs, we wouldn't be able to do ours .

They asked for the deposit but assured me they would not cash the money order until after they received the forms they were requesting because they would not be able to officially enroll my son without the paperwork. I called the manager at this location to inform her in enrolled my son in different program. I asked them about coming back to the location to get my money orders back but they informed me they already enrolled my son (without the documents they initially needed) and they were unable to refund me the money. After explaining the entire situation to the manager, they told me there was nothing they can do about the money even though my child was not officially able to be enrolled without proper documentation. Hopefully you don't find yourself in a similar situation.

My family and I were very disappointed with our experience when trying to schedule a school tour…read more As Deaf parents, we simply asked The First Academy to provide an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter so we could fully understand the information being shared during the tour. Despite multiple emails and opportunities to reconsider, the school declined to provide an interpreter. Instead, we were told to rely on written communication, tablets, and "extra time," which are not effective or equitable substitutes for real-time ASL access. This does not provide meaningful communication for Deaf adults, especially during an important process like evaluating a potential school for our children. We were also told we could "bring our own interpreter," which shifts the burden of accessibility onto families rather than meeting basic inclusion standards. We left the interaction feeling that the school was not prepared to support the communication needs of Deaf parents. Accessibility should not be optional, and it should not depend on families paying out-of-pocket to participate. I hope the school takes this feedback seriously and re-evaluates its approach to serving Deaf and hard-of-hearing families in the future.

I feel like the worst parent in the world for taking my child here at all. If your the parent with the autistic child there, they are hitting him I saw it with my own eyes (no I can not prove it bc the cameras are broken and fuzzy so you cant see what happened so they will get away with it now) . My biggest mistake was sending Mrs. Judy and email. If I could go through this process I would have called Florida Department of Children's and Families First and reported this incident there. Please if you love your children you will not take your child to this facility. if you have a child in there get them out. if you have no choose but to stay when something happens repot it to FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FIRST do not give miss Jude a chance to alter footage and corroborate stories. Also Mrs. Judy who was to report the incident immediately was slow to report the incident to the proper authorities. Do not trust her to do the right thing.
