They've done a great job of adequately challenging my kids. Some teachers are great proactive communicators, others not so much, but all have been great at responding to emails whenever I've needed anything. They also make sure the kids have adequate physical activity, though some of my friend's kids have had teachers who take away PE privileges when classes are unruly during teaching time which I disagree with strongly. The only things I'd change are I think a second language should be part of specials for all kids and I think SCPS food choice could be healthier with less junk food extras for sale. The carline could also be better and the fence around the property is rusty and in need of being replaced. PTA is also pretty active which is wonderful!

I wish the membership was a tab bit more economical or even more had some better incentives for returning members. But I do I like that they allow the students to push for what they want to learn and that they hold workshops for learning. Having tried other programs where we had to practically bribe our student to participate, Meta Humans has been a breath of fresh air. Our child genuinely loves going -- he'd happily attend seven days a week if they were open on weekends! We currently attend three times a week, and we've found that Meta Humans not only meets the socialization needs that homeschoolers sometimes struggle with, but it also helps fill in educational gaps in an engaging and effective way. For example, they offer typing -- a subject that would've been a major battle if I had introduced it at home. But because it's part of the Meta Humans curriculum, my child now asks to practice typing on weekends -- just for fun! That's the kind of magic they create: turning new skills into something enjoyable and self-motivated. The staff is absolutely wonderful. In particular, Glouie (aka Louie) takes the time to individualize care and support for each student. He has a deep understanding of the unique quirks and personalities of the kids and manages those differences with kindness, attentiveness, and real compassion. If I had one small wish, it would be for a French immersion option! With so many native French speakers on staff at this location, my son has become increasingly curious about the language -- and I'd love to take advantage of that exposure, especially since immersion is such a powerful way to learn. All in all, Meta Humans has been an incredible addition to our homeschool journey, and we're so grateful for the joy and growth it brings our family.

The school brought a love and desire for learning to our child. Our daughter was very shy and struggled to communicate with anyone she didn't associate with on a constant basis and she would cry and hide if she was made the center of attention. The school's natural environment is encouraging children to come out of their shells. It's been an amazing transformation to watch her grow in confidence and learn to love doing something even if people are watching. At our daughter's first parent/teacher meeting the director/primary teacher said "She may never want to get up in front of a group and talk or perform but we will give her tools to use to be able to do it." We watched our daughter dread getting up in front of other to now excited to show off what she enjoys. It's been a beautiful transformation. I've never seen an environment where so many children of all ages love one another so much. The older kids look out for the younger ones and set an example that is exemplary. I feel so at ease that my child is getting good influences from her peers. Her classmates are encouraging to one another and rally to help a classmate in need and cheer them on The teachers and staff truly care about what's best for your child to make sure they are getting what they need and are progressing in their curriculum. They put emphasis on the process of a task over just completing it, so our daughter feels pride doing the steps that lead to the completion of the task just as much as feeling the joy of finishing something. I love that our daughter will have the same teachers for multiple years, I feel this will be invaluable to her growth because they know her and know what her capabilities are. I also love that she gets plenty of one on one time with the teachers as well. Everyone is great at communication if you reach out to them or need something, which is amazing because there is a clear and open dialog for whatever your questions or needs may be. Overall we think its a wonderful school and as a parent you can be as involved as you want to be with the many special events the parent's put on for the children. This summer he has opted for the overnight option because he has felt he was "missing out" by only going to day camp. My son has attended MANY different summer camps of all types, day and overnight, sports, academic, music, Boy Scouts, Disney, Sea World, in state, out of state, etc. ID Tech is at the top of his list. The staff to camper ratio is excellent and the staffers are terrific - high energy, fun, young, computer geek types. My son has been to the camp at both UCF and Rollins College - both facilities have been good. And my son has always commented that the food is great! The only negative is the cost - it's expensive. This camp is not for every kid. But if you've looked at the courses and your son or daughter has an interest in these programs, I don't think you'll find better.
