Our 2nd tutor wouldn't even turn her camera on during the sessions and didn't really seem to care about offering decent service. The tutor then sent us an email at the end of February saying she was cancelling our future sessions. Then, we were billed $529 three days after the Tutor cancelled on us. We didn't even realize this was an auto charge/subscription. They were not up front with that information. Varisty was not willing to refund us so we disputed the charge. 30 days later and it is still not resolved. They won't even allow us to book future sessions that we paid for. They have taken our $529 and won't even schedule future sessions with us. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Especially if your child is special needs and I told them this they knew about my son and sent me two people who were a hot mess and no idea how to teach a child. After just a few sessions his grade soared to an A and stayed there. No more up and down grades for him. He passed the EOC exam with no problems and scored a level 5 on the 8th grade FSA! My son would come home from this school with mysterious bruises and scratches and we were always told that it was from rough-housing with another kid. Then we saw that one of the teachers from this school was arrested for child abuse while at this facility and we immediately pulled our son out. Turns out that all of the marks on him were given to him by a teacher and not another student. I didn't blame Park Avenue for this at first as there will always be bad apples that slip through any screening process, but they refused to accept responsibility and even allegedly physically threatened another parent who complained of this issue. Also, don't forget that this institution is owned by Tim Davis, the former Orlando Police officer who shot and killed his own son. Every time I drive by this place, I hope to see it closed but that has yet to happen. NEVER take your child here.

I like all mothers checked out numerous facilities. The fancy (expensive) ones seemed so cold, unfriendly and the children seemed like robots. The staff at this facility are AMAZING! They become second mothers to your baby and love them as if they were their own. I have even picked up my son and they had cut his nails for me, which, all us mommies know, cutting a baby's nails can be scary at times. I love the fact that my son and I have built relationships with all the staff here. They truly love kids and want the best for them. They love for kids to be creative and use their imagination instead of putting them in front of some sort of electronic to teach them and in my book, that is an A+ !
