Bullying is tolerated if your a child of the staff. A slap in the wrist is what they get before getting back to the main importance- sports. Toxic atmosphere in the upper grades. Teachers seem nice enough but the admini doesn't care if you get bullied or threatened; they'd rather avoid getting police or 911 involved and hope the Problem and family go away. read more

This school has been a blessing for both of my children. I have been a public school teacher in Lake county for over 10 years. When my son started middle school in Eustis, I was shocked! Knifes, guns, drugs, and sexual Activity taking place in a middle school ! I could not believe the things that he was seeing and learning every day at that school. When he transferred to Mount dora Christian Academy, I felt like we got our son back. Yes the academics are rigorous, but they are College track aligned. I think they are just as good as a public school's curriculum. We only wanted what was best for my son. I truly believe that this school sets up all children for the best possible outcome for their futures. I have always been a public school teacher, and truly believe in public schools. But each child thrives well in different areas and in different schools, It just so happens that my children have done extremely well in private school. I highly recommend this school to anyone. read more

This "school" is very clicky! The curriculum is very behind standards. They follow a very different line. After we pulled our children out we have encountered many parents who have done the same. We were under the impression, as they led us to believe, that all the children receive more attention then they would at other schools. This is very far from the truth. Also, if you are the type of parent, or a mom who still thinks she's a cheerleader and brands are the thing and doesn't have a real job and can be there everyday...this is definitely the school for you. My husband and I each have our own practice with fairly large staffs. We can't be there for everything. We want our children to get the best available when it comes to education and sports.
