Very happy with this school. Have there been some issues? Yep but every school has issues from time…read moreto time. What I do know is their curriculum and teaching is great. Evidence of this My Daughter started Middle School this year and because of her 5 years at Choices was automatically put in the Advanced classes to include GEMS Math and again she is excelling. Let's talk something else that shows how well they educate. My daughter also has been selected and is not part of the Duke TIP program. My youngest went there last year for VPK and is now in Kindergarten. And in little more than a month he is reading books at home already at a higher level than kids his age typically read without help. Do they teach to the test (FSA) yep they do. But So doesn't all schools that receive County Funding. Currently a Nationwide Blue Ribbon School. Strongly recommend the school.

My three grandchildren have been students for the past 6 years and their education has been excellent. Galileo believes that all of their students have talents waiting to be discovered and the teachers and support staff help them find "themselves". They provide the guidance, the tools, the support and the FUN that all Florida students would love to be part of. Galileo is currently opening their second campus because there are so many children in Seminole County that want to be part of this fantastic school. Their parents have heard about the student success at Galileo, entered their kids into an enrollment lottery that has twice the number of applicants as slots. If that isn't a testimony of success I don't know what is! If you are interested in visiting the school for the 1921/22 school year (they have a full student body for this 1920/21 year) look at the school website, the parent reviews and the state of Florida statistics. I am confident your children will have the same fantastic, memorable educational experience my grandkids are.

As a result, I have made the decision to withdraw my daughter from Howard School and enroll her in another school. Based on our experience, I would not choose this School again and would not recommend it to other parents. I not consider the Howard School like Magnet level, nothing good in this school

Updating this review as my son has moved up in classes within this childcare facility…read more I wanna say that he is really had a decent experience there, but I feel like this is all a business more than it is a place for kids to feel safe. My child would be transitioned very quickly after turning a new age and it was just really abrupt and I don't feel like the transition had the interest of the child at heart. It was more to get new children - into the facility to earn more money; And I do understand that it is a business, but I do feel like depending on the child, there should be some more compassion given. There were too many times that my child was getting hurt in the older classes, and I was finding out about it late or not finding out about it at all. If I Would find out it was through my child and then the teachers would confirm. No Incident reports were written nor did directors know (but I feel like that was more because it was pushed under the rug by leadership) I should've been called each and every time regardless of the severity. I feel like there was also lots of gaslighting going on. Saying that kids were getting expelled from the facility for their repeated incidents of bad behavior and hitting, and that was not the case (all in all it was to keep business and money flowing into the facility). Won't be back this year for VPK. I still believe that the younger teachers 2a and below are great and children will be taken well care of. Just can't say the same about the older classes. 3's class was not too bad. Destine and Chesney were such great teachers!

My issue is not with the staff but with "the owners" (as everyone calls them). "The owners" allowed the school to place a placard at the check in podium, advertising part time rates. This prompted me to ask if I could enroll my son part time as I was changing jobs. This was warmly received and there were no issues. After I found out I was expecting, I asked about part time rates for my baby. They didn't offer infant care at the time so I found alternate childcare while my daughter was an infant. Because I liked the facility and they offered part-time rates I was excited to get to enroll my daughter the one-year-old room. We were informed that if a spot was open come time for my daughter to be enrolled, she would be permitted to attend part time because my son was already enrolled although they discontinued part time rates. My daughter began attending this school on October 3. On February 20 we were notified that we had until the end of the week to either enroll our children full-time or to find alternate childcare as they had families interested in enrolling their children full-time and needed my children's spot. The owners agreed to give us an additional week to find alternate childcare but I do not feel as if this was an appropriate way to handle a family who had been Enrolled for over two years and never had a late payment. This school views your child as a paycheck. The worst part about this all was that this was done eight days before my son's fourth birthday and six months before he would have began pre-k. These are the only other children my children have ever known. You cannot imagine what it was like to explain to my son that he was not permitted to continue to go to the only school and play with the only friends he has ever known.
