From the start, Emily was extremely kind, helpful, and fast to get us scheduled before we were set to close on our house. Paul was already at the property waiting for us and piloting a drone around to be able to see absolutely everything, which was the first sign of just how thoroughly Green Mountain's inspections are conducted. We spent hours combing over every square inch of the house, garage, and grounds outside with Paul, who shared everything with us as we walked. It's very clear to us that Paul and Emily take extreme pride in both the quality of the work they do as well as making every client feel as though they are family. As first time home buyers in an insane real estate market, we are extremely thankful to have worked with Paul and Emily. Give them a call!

Our home buying experience moved quickly and was overwhelming most of the time, but the only time we weren't totally freaking out was when we were talking to Paul (and Emily!). Thanks to their guidance, we were able confidently navigate every step of this process. Paul truly went above and beyond, genuinely wanted the best for us, and was always available when we needed him. We would recommend Paul to anyone purchasing a home in the area!

I'm probably setting the women's movement back a few years by admitting this, but as a single…read morewoman, the prospect of homeownership is completely terrifying to me. I can barely change a lightbulb, and for years I put off buying because I didn't want to deal with the hassle of knowing how to fix things. But then I fell in love with a house, and everything changed. My realtor had set up a home inspection with another company, but when I looked them up, I saw tons of negative reviews. I figured that this would possibly be the most important investment I could make; I am not equipped to deal with a house that has lots of hidden issues. After seeing all the positive reviews for this company, I switched over. I could not be more pleased that I did. Dana explained everything in great detail and in language I could understand, and he went through the house with a fine-toothed comb. This home is a renovation, and everything is brand new, so my realtor expected us to be done with the inspection fairly quickly. Dana spent more time than he had to, explaining things to me, telling me about things I'd need to think of in the future regarding owning a home, and taking pictures of everything so that I have a record of where things are and what they do. Working with him allieviated all of my fears around us missing something that would end up becoming a huge expense to me. I felt like I had a favorite uncle looking out for me and making sure that he was giving me the guidance I needed in a process that is totally unfamiliar and kind of scary. I plan to be in my new home for a long time, but if I ever do decide to go through this process again, he will absolutely be the one I hire as an inspector!
