The eye exam itself was fine, and ordering two pairs of glasses went smoothly at first. I was told…read moreit would take a few weeks, which I accepted. A couple of weeks later, I received a text saying they were ready for pickup. When I arrived, only one pair was actually available. I left and waited another two weeks before following up. On a Friday, I called and was told no one was available, but someone would call me back on Monday with an update. Monday came and went--no call by 2:00 p.m. I called again and was placed on hold until the call dropped. I tried again, was promised a callback "right away," and waited 45 minutes with no response. Frustrated, I called a third time and requested a refund. Once more, I was told someone would call me back. Eventually, I did get a call: they had the lenses but not the frames. Then they offered a similar style in black--I agreed to proceed. Later, another call came saying the frames weren't black after all, but grey. At this point, I was so fed up I just told them to use the grey ones. I'm finally supposed to pick them up tomorrow... I hope. After all this hassle, endless waiting, broken promises, and terrible communication, I seriously doubt I'll ever return.

First, Dr. Castro is excellent, skilled, and caring. Highly recommend. The office works to get you scheduled as quickly as possible. They have good availability. Appreciate the hiring reflects a diverse community. One gentleman who helps me adjust my glasses is just kindest most helpful technician ever. I really appreciate how he makes sure my frames fit well. Not everyone in the office is the kind and helpful. And one time, my family member passed away and I ended up being 7 minutes late to my appointment. They treated me so mean. I was nearly in tears but they berated me for being late. One staff member makes fun of me for my personal preferences. However staff have worked here for years so they must love their jobs. That says something for this business.

Since when can you deny customers who have an active prescription??? I live in Louisiana now and can't drive to Allen, TX just to give them an exam so that they will let me buy contacts. It's sad that a customer with a perfectly active prescription can't even buy contacts when they need them.

A cautionary tale…read more I liked Dr Dennis Goldsberrry. Great bedside manner. I have had poor vision for years. Got RK 20 years ago. Came to Dr Goldsberrry for an exam.Cataract surgery was recommended. I elected to have it. I chose the upgrade lens. Procedure went great.... At first. Called a week later and said "I don't think this feels right ". His tech assistant said to me via text: "Hi Gary I got your voice mail. You are still healing and going to have fluctuation with the vision. Please make sure you are using lots of artificial tears throughout the day and using the steroid drops as directed. As long as you are not in any pain and not seeing any big floaters or flashes you should be ok to wait until the next post- op appointment. We will measure your vision then." When I went back for a 30 day post surgery visit. I learned to my horror, I had a detached Retina. A detached Retina Requires a whole new surgery. Still not sure of my vision outcome. Dr Goldsberrry got me an appointment with a Retina specialist pronto. However, I said "Dr I called your office for help" 3 weeks ago His response was basically oh well. Total cold fish. My vision may be ruined forever. Too bad So sad was the attitude I felt when learning my retina had become detached post surgery For over three weeks my retina was detached and undetected- and could lead to permanent eye damage . to this day, I've heard not a word about his concerns for my eye. I thought he would've called to follow up. He has shown zero concern or empathy for my condition. Message to all patients. Be your own advocate. If it feels wrong to you it's wrong! If considering Dr. Goldsberrry, I hope you read this review.

OnExperience Review My overall experience with this eye…read moreclinic was disappointing and frustrating. From the very beginning, the process felt like being on a conveyor belt--shuffled from room to room, with a different technician each time, and very little personal attention. When it came time to meet the doctor to select my lens, I never received a clear breakdown of the options. Instead, I was given a handwritten note showing only the most expensive and the lowest- priced choices. I wasn't entirely sure what I was choosing but ended up selecting the most expensive option. The second eye surgery was delayed by a week, which pushed back the time I could start using the new lenses. I left the appointment without any instructions for a follow-up. When I called the office to confirm, I was given incorrect information. On my next visit, after going through the same conveyor belt process, a doctor I had not scheduled with examined me and said my eyes were too dry to proceed, requiring another reschedule. The scheduler then informed me there would be no availability for at least a week, possibly longer. By this point, I was very frustrated with the delays. During another appointment, I was not given any prescriptions or priority scheduling, even though the manager had previously said I would receive both. Several other things stood out: * There were no refreshments or snacks offered, despite positive reviews mentioning them. * There is a second waiting room, which I still do not understand the purpose of. * I was recommended to use Miabo eye drops, which my insurance did not cover and which cost nearly $900 for a small bottle. Overall, my experience was poor and left me feeling neglected as a patient. The entire process was disorganized, communication was unclear, and the costs were extremely high--around $9,000 in total. I want to share this so other patients are aware of what they might encounter. counter. Approximate Cost: $9,000 Final Opinion: I cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience. the initial evaluation, I felt like I was on a conveyor belt being shipped from room to room and never with the same technician. Then I was supposed to meet a doctor to choose the lens, he never showed te breakdown of the lens, instead he sent a hand written of my options the most expensive and the lowest, not sure what I had chosen.but I chose the most expensive. On the second eye surgery. I was rescheduled to another week, which extended the time of getting the lens up and working. I left with no instructions to come back. I called the office to see when I was to come back and was given wrong information. After the conveyor belt again, I went to a doctor's office. A person who I had not scheduled with showed up and started looking at my eyes and said we have to reschedule the appointment because my eyes were too dry, for one week. The scheduler said there was no chance for a week and it would be considerably later. I became quite agitated at this point as ''this was taking forever.'' Another appointment, after the evaluation, I was not today given prescriptions and no priority booking my appointment as I was told by the manager I would like address a couple of good reviews, there was no one passing out snacks, there is a second waiting room, which I still don't understand, and they wanted me on Miabo, eye drops, which my insurance did not cover, and the price was around $ 900.00 for a very small bottle. All this made me want to inform customers as this is obviously my opinion. The cost was about approximately $ 9000.00.
