Avoid this place. They did a horrible job raising the hem of my wife's pants. It was really crooked and double stitched in some places, not in others. We politely asked if they could correct it and they flatly refused trying to make us feel like we were being unreasonable for asking for professional work. When we were trying to discuss the issue further, the young woman at the counter laughed at us and was not willing to talk about it any further, then told us to leave. Because we maintained a polite demeanor throughout we were incredulous. Went across the street to another cleaners and they couldn't believe the poor workmanship on the raising of the hem. DO NOT USE THIS CLEANERS. I used this cleaners because I lived in Naperville and it was close to our condo. Never really had a bad experience is the reason why I kept using them after I moved to Oswego. Well I bought a Gucci shirt ($895.00) about a year ago and have only wore it 3 times and each time I took it to Heritage Cleaners after each wear. Well I took this shirt to them probably on 8/17 and picked it up on 8/20. When I got home to remove the cleaners hangers and to put it on a regular hanger it had holes at the top right of the shirt and holes on the back of the shirt as if they had mice that chewed through it while in their care. I called on Monday 8/22 and spoke to a woman that stated to bring it back so that she could look at it. I took it back the next day and spoke to the daughter. She wasn't taking ownership basically stating that it was wear and tear and that she could sew it. I told her she could not sew those holes. A line started to form so she told me to leave the shirt and she'll figure something out. She gave me a receipt to pick up at 4 PM the same day but informed her I'll be busy. Asked her to CALL ME before they proceeded with anything. Days passed by and never heard anything. Received a text on Saturday 8/27 stating the shirt was ready and was $14. Now let's rewind why am I paying them since they put holes in the shirt. Fast forward today went to pick the shirt up. The older lady stated $14, I said for what when you damaged my shirt she stated for the repair. I stated your daughter didn't say it'll be a charge and I'm not paying for nothing. After going back and forth she finally stated take it, but please find another cleaners to go to. I said okay and I did already showed her a receipt from another cleaners where I just dropped off some other items. Took my shirt and proceeded to go out of the door. While walking out I stated bad customer service and I will leave a Yelp review. The owner assaulted me by running up and snatching the shirt out of my hand and pushed my side boob (I just had a breast reduction on 8/3) causing pain. I proceeded to get the shirt back but she hung it behind the counter. Long story short, police was called out and the fire department. Was advised to go back and see my surgeon. A police report was filed and this is now going to small claims court. I went back in with the officer to look at the shirt to see what repairs was done and they patched the shirt without my consent now it's completed ruined. I won't be going to this dry cleaners. I called to ask if they clean small rugs, and was told that they do. I asked what the process was. The young girl on the phone couldn't explain how they go about cleaning rugs. She actually told me, "don't worry about it, it'll get clean". I asked if I could speak to somebody who could explain the procedure to me and she flat out refused. Must be the owner's daughter because there's no other reason to have such an uninformed, rude, and unhelpful employee. Terrible dry cleaner. I know my girl's family spend 1,000s of dollars at this place. My first experience dealing with this location the short chubby Asian woman printed off 3 different tickets with the wrong order (pants). She then printed a 2nd time and it went up to $40 (from $34). The 3rd ticket then included a full length coat (essentially adjusted the price to make up the money- smh). After much frustration I decided to take my clothes elsewhere and the lady simply handed my clothes and made to attempt to retain my business. Don't waste your time. That's just the tip of iceberg. We've also had several clothing items that were returned to us stained/ripped. There are too many dry cleaners out there to dick around with this place. Find a new spot! Don't waste your money. Btw, Id give this place 0 stars but 1 is as low as I could go! And the business has responded to the post 27 months later... my opinion has not changed. These people are amazing. For starters they do great work ; dry cleaning and alterations. More amazing is that they seem to have a magical ability to recognize every customer and know your phone number. I'm serious. It's like watching a memory demonstration every time. I am a huge fan. read more

The cutest couple owns this dry cleaners. My mom and the lady have become fast friends and now she even knows who I am. The first time I went in for my mom and gave her my phone number she got this huge smile... now she asks about my parents and work/school if I ever go in alone. I went in with my mom around the holidays and she gave my mom a HUGE hug. So sweet! Besides the cuteness, they do a really good job with the dry cleaning and also do alterations. I often bring home all of my sweaters and things that need mending because they are so trustworthy. I'm also pretty sure they use green/organic dry cleaning products, which is always appreciated. read more

The people who own this cleaners are awful. My experience was a diaster. I brought in a pair of pants with stains. They did not get the stains out and recleaned the item. When i went to pick it up, the pants had a giant hole in them. They were insulting even claiming that I may have brought them in with the hole. They offered no compensation or satisfaction for THEIR mistake. I have posted comments on NextDoor and found that many others have had similar experiences, one even having to involve the police. My parents and I have been coming to this cleaners for well over 10 years now. There's a reason why other customers have been coming here for years as well, as their quality and customer service (the owners actually get to know their customers) is miles ahead of any other local or chain dry cleaners. I brought in a small backpack purse, and I was told that for $12, they would first spot-clean it to get the stains out, then give it an overall cleaning, and that the whole procedure would take two weeks. $12 seemed a little steep, but I figured it would be worth it for a thorough job and not to risk ruining the bag by cleaning it myself. At the end of two weeks, I picked up the bag, and it was absolutely untouched! It was just as dirty as when I brought it in, and it didn't even smell like dry cleaning fluid. The lady at the counter told me they had tried to spot-clean it, but the stains didn't come out, and they were afraid to give it the overall cleaning they charged me for, because they thought that the printed pattern would come off. I asked if there was any discount since they didn't do what I paid for, and she said 'no'. Unfortunately, I had already paid in cash before I took a good look at my bag, so I called when I got home to ask for a refund. I had to call three times before the manager was available to speak to me. The discussion consisted of a shrill, incessant stream of verbal abuse coming from the manager, whose name is Mia. I calmly explained several times that all I wanted was my $12 back since I didn't get what I paid for, but she became near- hysterical and retorted with lines like "If I give you refund, how do I pay my employees?" and "We are not slaves! We no work for free!". She even tried to start a discussion with me about minimum wage! In essence, she made HERSELF out to be the victim in the situation, even though I was the one who paid for a service I did not receive and was presently being verbally abused - over 12 bucks! When she felt she had screamed at me enough, she actually hung up on me! I have never encountered such abusive customer service ANYWHERE. This place is a RIP OFF!!!! I have taken my laundry to Heritage Cleaners three times. The first time they did a good job so i went back when i needed my shirts cleaned. Second time I didn't notice until i got home that the shirts weren't well pressed, looked more like i put them through the permanent press cycle in the dryer. Was on my way out of town and chalked it up to being a one time occurrence. Third time i made sure to check the shirts before taking possession and again they didn't look well pressed. I asked why my shirts looked like that and she explained that's what the automatic press does. Sounded like a BS reason to me because this is the first time a dry cleaner (besides Heritage) has given my shirts back looking like this. The lady then proceeded to tell me to get my shirts carefully pressed its $4.80 per shirt and not $1.50. I let her know that is ridiculous and my shirts should be repressed at no charge. She let me know she was not the owner/manager and told me to come back the next day to speak with that person. When i returned i went through the same run around with the manger Mia (who had a horrible attitude acting like i was at fault for this) again refusing to repress the shirts stating it would cost her money and that i should just run an iron over them. WELL THAT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF PAYING TO HAVE THEM DONE! Realizing this was going no where i let them know what bad business this was and i would never use their service again. Needless to say i am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the whole situation and WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!! Especially since there was no professionalism on their end and the best solution was a SMART @$$ remark.
