I was terrified to put my daughter In school as a first time mom. I actually couldn't handle the anxiety so I pulled her out after I was sobbing all day the first day she was gone. Well, penny and the staff were not only empathetic but made me feel comfortable doing things on my own time table. So when I decided to try again a week later I was welcomed with open arms. The quality of the teachers here feels more like a family. Everyone in the school helps each other. Miss Jazzy, Miss Caitlin, really every single teacher I have ever met has made me feel like home. They all know your child and love your child. Miss Wulan and Miss Ann Marie were her home room teachers and wow. These woman.. they don't make them like this anymore! Positive, loving, personal, engaged are only a few ways to describe them. They have been absolutely instrumental to Logan's growth and experience. She has thrived and become a social butterfly. These teachers never look tired and are always up beat. Ms Chrystal at the front desk always welcomes you with warmth and familiarity and never judged how many incident reports my daughter had. I was always met with comfort and understanding whenever I was worried about something my Daughter had done! And the school is owned and managed by Penny who is a GEM of a human being. These women are loving, smart, and are valued so much. They deserve the world and I'm so grateful to have found them. I'm forever in debt to this school and all it has done for myself and my daughter. Also, they know how much I love them and never once asked for a review. But if you are a nervous mom, or want an honest take, please ask penny for my number and I'd be happy to walk you through how they made this experience incredible.

We absolutely love The Goddard School of Gilbert (at East Germann). Even though there were a few…read moreoptions closer to us, we chose this preschool because the atmosphere here just felt different, in the best way. From the very first visit, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell the team really loves what they do. Our main teacher is always so happy around the children, you can feel her joy, and it really stood out compared to other places we toured. All the teachers are kind and smiling, and they take the time to connect with both the children and the parents. It's such a warm, supportive environment. Literally everyone is so nice! Another huge factor for us was safety and peace of mind. As a parent, being able to drop off your child without worrying is everything, and this preschool makes that possible. The classroom ratios are low, the environment is always clean, the sign-in process is secure, and they're thoughtful about food and nutrition. We've also had no issues with recurring colds or back-to-back illnesses, which has been such a relief. All of that makes a big difference. They've also been incredibly flexible, willing to work with us to make sure our child feels comfortable, whether that means bringing a favorite stuffy from home or making food & drink accommodations. They even have an easy, healthy lunch ordering system, which has been such a plus for our busy mornings. There are always fun activities and themes planned, plus special events like Splash Days and the petting zoo! We get daily updates (naps, meal times) and photos, which we look forward to every day. Our child is always excited to go, and it's clear the other children are happy too. This location has such a cozy, close-knit feel, and the whole team is just wonderful. We're so thankful we found this place, it truly feels like a second home. Special thank you to Ms. Sydni, Ms. Crystal, Ms. Maressa, Ms. Diane, Ms. Caitlin, Ms. Jazmine, Ms. Mahjoba, and Ms. Penny, you've all made such a difference for our family

Pros: Excellent teachers who truly care about each student. Particularly, Mr. Padilla (he's…read moreincredible!), Mrs. Kotkin and Mr. Rohner. Jennifer, in the front office, is great as well. Cons: Principal Jayne Bostow allows sexual assault/harrassment, bullying and retaliation of the assailant to go unpunished and doesn't seem to care about or feel the need to trouble herself with the effects it has on her students, particularly female students in the upper grades. Mrs. Bostow blatantly ignored the schools own rules and regulations in their handbook from the very start of when the first complaint was verbally filed. When we were finally given a form to file a complaint, the issue still wasn't dealt with in a timely or concise manner. For this reason, I had to pull all four of my children out. Thankfully, therapy is helping with my child who suffered from relentless abuse from her aggressor at this small Charter. From our perspective through this horrendous experience, Title IV is basically non-existent at this school. Mr. Dennis O'Reilly, Head of Schools, was made aware of the situation and also did nothing but send out an email reply that didn't really bring much comfort or offer any real solutions. It's a shame, because the teachers at this school are the best we've ever had and it was really difficult to come to the decision to leave. But, I will not allow any of my children to be treated so indignantly by the person who should have their best interests at heart.

When I found Leman Academy Mesa, it was entirely by chance as I drove by it one day. I thought to myself, what a cute school, and it was literally down the street from our house, so I booked a tour. Mind you; this was before the pandemic. When we attended the tour, we were greeted by the sweetest administration staff and even the Principal! Mrs. Bostow is hands down the best Principal ever. The fact that she was not only in attendance for our tour but also presented info on herself, her background, and the school's mission says a lot about the values they encompass and the family/community feel they want their scholars' families to experience. We did not experience anything like this at the other schools we toured. Some of those folks couldn't even correctly introduce themselves! Now fast forward to 2020 and the pandemic. Mrs. Bostow and the entire administration staff at Leman have gone above and beyond to keep all families informed and up to date on the new procedures, policies, and progress as we deal with this global situation. They've surpassed any expectations my husband and I could have had for such a situation. We have officially started Kindergarten this week, and on the first day, my son came home with new friends and the happiest disposition. He loves his teachers so much and can't wait to learn! He said Mrs. Robins is funny and friendly, and Mr. Opazo was silly and fun. We are very blessed to have found such an amazing school with core values, a classical model for learning, family and community support, stellar staff, and top-notch security. We couldn't imagine being anywhere else and are so happy our sons will be apart of the Leman family for years to come. Here's hoping they decide to open a High School by the time our sons reach that age. :)

That was not our experience. Beneath the polished tours and Christian branding, leadership at this campus proved ineffective, dismissive, and unwilling to meaningfully address serious concerns raised by families. Many parents are drawn to a Christian school hoping to shield children from age-inappropriate influences; ironically, in our personal experience, our children were exposed to more inappropriate language and behavior here than they had been in a Chandler public school, with limited administrative response. Administration frequently emphasized high demand to attend, yet from our firsthand experience and conversations with other parents, just as many families appeared to be leaving. Academic quality and classroom professionalism raised serious questions about how teachers are hired, their qualifications, and why turnover seemed high. Tuition and a Christian label do not automatically guarantee a better education, stronger values, or responsible leadership. This review is shared in good faith to encourage families to look beyond appearances and ask direct questions about leadership accountability, discipline policies, teacher hiring practices, and retention before enrolling.

It happened three times to her that I witnessed and nobody was watching the children they had chaperones that had their backs to the children at a picnic table and when I called the school to advise them that this is happening to a little girl I left a message. There was no return call for clarifying questions. If that was my child I would be disgusted with a school and it's ability to keep children safe this girl look like she was six or seven and a random stranger had to intervene to stop other students from dragging her around by her waist three times I expect more from a Christian school with Christian Beliefs. I did put a post on their Facebook under the zoo pictures after the school never returned my call they deleted it. They do not want anyone to know what happened at the zoo that's a little scary as a parent and the grandparent so be aware that's where you're sending your students. In addition there were boys on the ground wrestling. That was my impression of heart cry Christian Academy on an outing at a zoo where you would think they would have a lot of safety precautions in place for your children to be monitored .
