My son is an energetic second grader who thrives with clear routines, expectations, and consistency, and the school provides the structure he needs while still giving kids plenty of opportunities to move, create, and explore. I especially appreciate that students have specials such as PE, art, and Spanish, which give them different outlets throughout the school week. Academically, we have also had a very positive experience. My son was identified as gifted, and his teacher has been exceptional at differentiating instruction and providing enrichment that goes beyond simply giving him "more work." She finds ways to challenge him at a higher level, build on his interests, and keep him engaged and thinking. As a parent, it means a lot to know that his individual academic needs are being recognized and supported. No school is perfect, but our experience has been a positive one. I appreciate the combination of structure, high expectations, enrichment opportunities, and teachers who take the time to recognize what individual students need in order to grow.

From the very beginning, she started coming home happy and excited about her day. She often commented on how much more positive the environment felt, with far less drama and fewer issues than she had experienced before. One of the things that stood out most to her was how kind and respectful the aides were. She also appreciated how supportive her teachers were, always willing to help and accommodate her when she missed lessons. The teacher is known for getting away with bullying the kids. My daughter went to asked her for something for another teacher and she embarrassed my daughter and made her apologize to her class for what another teacher asked her to do. On top of that she told students in her class that my daughter might not make it to the 8th grade after she left and my daughter has not even had this teacher ever and doesn't know her. fyi my daughter is on honor roll. also told her boyfriend that was in her class to find another girlfriend. All for this one incident of my daughter asking her a question for a teacher. (If she has volleyball from Saturday school) I'm beyond livid and hearing all the other reports on her of making kids do things that make them uncomfortable for her comfort of embarrassing them. I like this school but then keeping teachers like this just shows what else can be slowly uncovering. Honestly taking a lot out of me to not approach the situation accordingly. Many of the retired teachers are "STILL" active and clearly invested in the school and students. What I was really impressed by, were the students. They were clearly intelligent, but they were genuinely polite and respectful. It was so incredibly refreshing!! This is clearly the result of great partnerships with the staff, parents, and the community.

She has been unhelpful throughout the process with registering my son and consistently speaks in a rude and dismissive tone. This school also takes forever to approve your child's enrollment. They're not that great so we will be going elsewhere. I started this enrollment process back in March! And we're going into august. Head up, You are able to go online and file an enrollment complaint through district. The school has shut off their reviews on Google because they know they they have people complaining.
