Both Kobe and Lacey provided great recommendations for me with awesome selections. Terrible customer service! Rude, and a complete lack of respect for the customer. I was even told I am welcome to shop other dispensaries in the area. That was the most intelligent thing that came out of the Herb & Joy employee's mouth during my last ever visit to their store. Great advice which I will gladly accept and act upon. My business will be going back to Natural Healing Center. Should have never left there. Prices are a tad higher but the customer service is light years ahead of the entitled brats at this place. Been there many times and never had a bad experience. One of the main reasons I go to a dispensary is for the service, environment, and overall 420 experience. Otherwise 420 on the streets (private party) is now cheaper than most dispensaries. To the ownership, you've lost me as a customer forever. But remember, retaining customers is more cost effective than attracting new ones. Negative reviews travel like wildfire. You have a lot of negative reviews. The dude and I came to HerbNJoy on 5/22/21 around 10am. We were greeted by friendly staff and notified about their promotions for the day and how the store is ran. I believe they accept Cash and I'm not sure if they accept other forms of payments but they do have like two to three ATMS inside. Upon the warm welcome they let us know that we can write on the wall with chalk and even have their menu listed on the board. I wrote a little message on the board. Upon entering the main room they had up to date poppin music on which was nice to jam out to as the dude and I browsed around taking in the high energy princess like ambience which was lovely! Make sure you sign up for rewards! They use it by your phone number. I didn't put mine down due to me not buying Cannibus but the dude did. They also have the option for you to wear your mask or not but the dude and I are so use to wearing ours so we decided to wear it just for the peace of mind. The dude ended up getting some things and a lot of things for $180 so he said it's a very good deal here and would like to come out to Hanford more often because of it. Our helper was very kind and knowledgeable about the products and their development. She appeared very professional and well organized as well. The customer service here is very stellar!! Hoping Fresno will soon open us high quality store fronts like this one as the dude and I were very impressed with the decor, quality and price! For a start up it is nice! I thought it would be a simple pick up/exchange but it ended up more than an hour long of trying to get a replacement. The supervisor tried to win an Oscar award by pretending that she was going to replace it but she stalled. Of course that is something you would do if you were a cheapstake, not a true business person. Seems like the business wasn't good if you had to act out for an hour. The supervisor ranted and it wasn't pretty. She didn't understand how the business works, not the shady one. If the client called to discuss about the replacement in advance and came to the store then you attempted to get the client to leave impatiently. That was on you. Be a big person and own it up. It was only 18 dollars but it was about respect in the end. You almost tried to prolong it by giving me the money instead of the cartridge. I knew it wasn't worth my time discussing with you all over again so I can make a purchase especially with your male employees making threats that the store will never sell things to me again. All I can say.... Damn! I also want to put a cherry on top of the shit. The supervisor knew I left my car running with my dogs waiting for me to get the order. They made enough of noises for her to know that they exist. I called about them prior coming to the store too. There is NO way for you to redeem for your shitty behavior. Had the WEIRDEST experience here during their 'grand opening' event... Not sure the legality of this, but if you're expecting your change back on a purchase, just know you won't be getting it at HerbNJoy. OR worse, they make it a big deal that they have to go to the back in order to get your change. I'm not sure what the actual procedure they're supposed to go by is because my friend and I got two varying answers. She asked her budtender for change, to the reply of "oh we don't do that here". The GM was nearby and said "we round up". Round up for what? I presume they add it to their tips. BUT THEN my budtender (a different guy) came back with my item and offered me change. Needless to say my friend did not make a purchase because her budtender was rude and didn't wish to clarify anything about deals or her total. The GM didn't seem to care about making the situation better or even deescalating it. I made my purchase and was half-assedly handed my $5 change back after I left a $1 tip (which was even undeserved considering the lack of customer service we experienced) - the guy handed me my bag and held the crumpled $5 in his hand hoping I'd forget about it. I awkwardly reached for my change and got out of there. I work in the area but I'm not sure they will be getting my cash ever again. Finally stopped and asked and apparently nobody put me on the check in list and it was my fault even though I have no idea how this place operates, then the prices are insane especially with an inflated tax rate that is clearly higher than in Lemoore. Couldn't "stack" my veterans discount so they don't really give one. Guess I'll stick to Lemoore where the tax rate seems to be 50% less and they actually help customers. First impressions go a long way and this business failed. I came into the store with my sister and husband on a Saturday. Unfortunately, most of what we came in for (edibles) was out of stock. Plenty of flower and concentrates though. Also, not a very shopping friendly environment. Stuff is locked away in drawers and only certain things were displayed (but it's just display packaging and it is really out of stock).
