It's as delicious as it is pretty. The Omni Bowl: A unique fusion bowl that's hearty and perfect for a more filling lunch. Service was an A+++

This is definitely a clean eating spot, but for me the flavors were either missing or clashing. I…read morehad the mango burrito bowl because the concept sounded delicious. The sweetness of the mango paired with the saltiness of the tofu was actually perfect, but the bell peppers stood out too much flavor-wise since they tasted watery and under-seasoned. My husband got the peanut waffles and said they were difficult to eat because the waffles were super thick and most of the peanut sauce was concentrated in the middle. I think a lighter peanut sauce would've balanced everything out much better. Overall, if you're really into fresh, ingredient-focused food, this may be the place for you -- it just wasn't my personal cup of tea :) I also wanted to note that the service and overall design of the place were phenomenal, and I'm honestly sad it didn't work out for me because it would make such a perfect study spot.

I'd seen that Sadie had hosted small gatherings previously so I reached out to see if she'd be willing to share her space for our small group. She was easy to contact, very responsive and elated to help out for the sake of building community when I shared the purpose of our get together. She stayed late to host and provided 'your choice' holiday beverages at a flat rate for the evening. There are plenty of intimate small cafe tables and a comfy cozy couch that made for the perfect space for our after hours girls night. Sadie is truly a gem and I look forward to stopping in again soon!

The cafe space is large. Decor is shabby (stained, worn high-traffic carpet; dingy walls), but it seems like management is trying hard with tchotchkes. At least one person was taking advantage of free WiFi to work. The barista was working in a sketchbook and talking with two guys from a local auto place, who were loudly discussing how they scam out-of-towners. Service was prompt and friendly. My mocha was way too sweet and the sip I had of my mom's cappuccino was so-so. I think with a little elbow grease and attention to detail Sadie Mae's could be a great local cafe, but I left feeling underwhelmed .

I got the bacon and cheese on sourdough. I assumed as this is a breakfast sandwich it would come with egg. I was so wrong. It was one slice of sourdough cut in half and barely toasted. 2 strips of bacon and some bland cheese. I have never been more disappointed in a sandwich in my life. For beverage I got cold brew and asked for light cream. It came out looking very pale brown. There was so much cream that I could not taste the coffee.

I ordered two coffees and sent my 13-year-old son inside to pick them up. He accidentally grabbed the wrong drinks, and as soon as we realized the mistake, I sent him back inside to get the correct ones. Shortly afterward, the employee working the coffee bar, Kyle, came outside demanding to know where the drinks had gone. I apologized profusely, explained that it had been a simple mistake, and immediately offered to pay for the drinks that had been taken. Despite that, Kyle was incredibly rude and abrasive while ringing me up. When I said that, after being treated this way, it would definitely be my last visit to Marketplace, his response was, "That's just fine with me." The entire interaction was unnecessarily confrontational and embarrassing. My son was left crying at the table over what had been an innocent mistake that we took full responsibility for and paid to correct. I'm honestly horrified by how the situation was handled. A little kindness and professionalism would have gone a long way. After being a regular customer, I never expected a simple mix-up to turn into such an unpleasant scene.
