UPS STORE #2690 NEXT TO BAGEL BIN in Huntersville, NC Questionable business practices…read more Absolutely! I don't typically post a review, but when I feel a business is unethical it is important to me that the community. I hope what happened to me does not happen to anyone else. A friend of mine took a package into UPS store #2690 on Feb 5, 2026 for a guaranteed over night delivery to me in Austin, TX on Feb 6, 2026. The store charged $214.00. On Feb 6th I tracked the package. It was delayed due to weather. But how can that be? There were no weather issues in Charlotte or Austin, and if there was why did they accept the package for overnight delivery? Yes, there were weather issues the previous week, but that was the previous week. When I contacted the UPS store owner/manager, Issa, I was told they could not be accountable for weather. The package would not be delivered until three days later. To make matters worse because I was no longer in the Austin area to receive the package he wanted to charge me $100.00 to reroute it. Completely unethical in my opinion. After going around and around with Issa hoping to get a full refund, he offered me a $75.00 store credit. Sorry, that doesn't cut it. Rather than accept an offer like that and keep quiet I would rather not, and post this in hopes that it will help someone avoid this situation in the future and go elsewhere to ship overnight packages.

I shop here regularly and truly enjoy the experience. The Village Store is part of our quaint Main Street area not to be overlooked. You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.

They have a lot of unique items here, too, encouraging lengthy browsing. I was able to find a perfect gift for Christmas, and continue to visit this store every time I'm in Davidson. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, too. I only wish they were open later on Saturday night (like 7 or 8pm) so we could visit after dinner, rather than having to go before. Definitely check this place out of you are looking for a gift for yourself or someone else!

Harris Teeter, depending on the neighborhood they served, varied somewhat. This is one of the more upscale ones serving a rather upscale area. That said, with a lot of competition, they have one of the lowest price structures in the Harris Teeter chain, This is particulary true if you use their loyalty card call a VIC card. The deal with Kroger was only consumated back in May but already, things have changed. A large number of items have had their price reduced and Kroger/Harris Teeter is making a statement that they are going to be competitive in the long run. That said, we have been shopping at this store since it opened probably 15 years ago. Selection is excellent and the staff is great. If they are out of something or you can't find something within the store, they make sure it is on the next truck and if not a normal item, will pass on the request to the pertainent buyers. The pharmacy staff is also excellent and have been responsive to every need. One more point and that is they just finished a store removation and now they offer a lot more from an in house deli, breakfast bar, pizza bar, salad bar etc. Only thing missing is a place to eat it, otherwise you have to take it out.
