The store is not well-lit though it's a barn so take it with a grain of salt. They have some unique items if you take a look. Came here last year during the pandemic after Mother's Day weekend, there were plenty of plants and vegetable plants to choose from. Guess not a lot of people came to buy plants last year so we got a unique items last year including black cherry tomatoes, yellow watermelon, various types of lavenders, and bunch of other plants. We took a chance on a dried up banana tree that was for $10 and gave it as a gift as well as the other items we brought ($4 each, I believe). The tree survived. It's currently thriving and we are waiting for the tree to produce bananas. Last year and this year they also had baby chicks in the greenhouse. It's makes my day to see the chicks and you know it's Springtime. We went again this year after Mother's Day weekend and there were a few places and vegetables available. I picked up lavender grotto ($5), citronella ($5), and some succulents ($10). No dying or last leg plants this year. The choices were more limited since folks came out to buy the fruits and vegetables early this year now that places are opening up again. Guess we need to go early.

I love that this farm has organic plants and vegetables. The people running it are very friendly…read moreand knowledgeable, and will assist you with whatever you need. We get many of our plants and vegetables from this farm since we try to eat mostly organic. Inside the barn they have a lot of interesting things so it's definitely worth taking a look around in there. They also have things for the kids to do and you can eat outside on their picnic benches. It's a nice place to visit while you're driving down Sound Avenue. I recommend stopping and checking this place out.

What I'm looking for is the Davis Peach Farm Sangria mix made with fresh fruits. I had a Davis Peach Stand by my house but they picked up and left. There are farmers selling various vegetables, Pindar Wines, Beer vendor selling growlers, a guy selling raviolis!! Riverhead Farmers Market is a local gem. If your by Tanger Outlets, its not too far of a drive. Park on Main st and enjoy some locally sourced items.

Was a bit disappointed. While the vendors were interesting and definitely local (and very very…read morefriendly) some were so expensive that it shuts out a good part of "the locals." I paid $22 for a bag of potatoes and a bag of carrots. I can afford it, but what about those who can't?. A box of baked goods (scones, muffins etc) were also in the $20 range. Cheeses and meats (yes boutique vendors) were so expensive I couldn't justify purchasing) Probably won't go back

I don't give out very many one star reviews, but this was such an offputting experience that I…read moredon't have much of a choice. I came to Goodale during normal business hours (according to Google anyway) and what I pulled up to looked like an abandoned farm. There was no one to be found anywhere. There was no produce, a few dead plants, a few things that looked like they were going bad in the indoor freezers and refrigerators of this place, some rotting onions and a cash register that was unattended. This all wouldn't be that troubling, but this is a working farm with lots of animals on it, so I wondered how long these guys had been alone for. I took a walk around and everyone seemed to have water at least and some hay that looked decently fresh, but the goats here looked starved for attention. There was some feed left by the front of the store so we threw some in for them. No idea what's going on at this place and whether or not it's actually still running, but it was shocking to see the state this place is in (and surprising to see reviews of people who say they've purchased fresh produce or fresh anything recently).

After ordering produce from them for the first time, I threw everything in the trash. Most of the…read morevegetables had started browning and did not appear to be fresh. Part of my order was in an Aldi bag, which left me confused. The bag that contained the green beans had a gas-like smell. I won't make another purchase from them.
