Good food and fast service. Just what you need at the airport!! I got the turkey blta with the cheddar soup and both were delicious. The waiter was really good and even filled up my water glass when he noticed I needed more water. The place can really crank out some good food really fast. She always likes her chicken Cobb salad as well. This is my go to place for a meal prior to taking a flight.

Ridiculous wait for a table 10 minutes for a table 12 minutes to be greeted once seated not busy. Terrible service!!!

Don't sleep on Henry's Tavern. I make it a point to ALWAYS get food & drinks here. My server/bartender Shiloh was very sweet & fast! She read my mind when I sat down & promptly asked me what bevy I wanted. Food came fast & it was good. Cheers until next time.

Honestly, really solid airport food. A good sized burger and decent fries that don't make a dent in your wallet. If you have a little bit more time between your flights, I'd make a stop here for a burger and a beer and skip the food court! Staff is friendly and quick too

Walked in for a quick taste of home ,(Portland) before flying back to our new home-NM. Henry's has been a fave for decades, these 2 were amazing. Made us feel so comfy, totally entertained us with their drink craft and our Casacdia Blondes. Will be back in June and visit them again, thanks from the heart for having 2 like these

I stopped into Harry's Tavern at the Portland Airport (Terminal B) after realizing I hadn't eaten all day and still had about an hour and a half before boarding. This little tavern sits conveniently in the middle of the terminal, easy to get to from either direction, and has a surprisingly large seating area. The airport was extremely busy that Friday, and the tavern reflected it - the bar was full, every table was taken, and the staff was clearly hustling. Even with the crowd, we were seated fairly quickly. The food did take a bit longer to arrive, and I ended up needing it to go so I didn't miss my flight. I got my order about five minutes before my boarding time started. The menu is typical tavern fare, burgers, salads, wings, and similar items, but honestly, it was good for airport food. They also have a to-go counter and a full bar, though I didn't use either. The servers were friendly and doing their best despite how busy it was. Prices were standard for an airport, nothing unexpected. Overall, it's a decent place to grab a bite if you have some time before your flight. I wouldn't avoid it, but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way for it either. Solid 3 out of 5 stars.

My son and I had a long layover after a missed flight and decided to stop here for lunch. When we arrived, it wasn't crowded & the space was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of spots to sit and plug in our electronics, which was a plus. Our waitress was awesome and recommended the cheese curds and they were absolutely scrumptious! We both had the fish and chips for our main meal, and they were cooked perfectly. The fish was flaky, the fries were crisp, and everything came out hot and fresh. The service really made the experience. Our waitress was friendly, upbeat, and attentive. By the time we finished, the place was packed and I can see why. A great spot to relax and enjoy a good meal while waiting for your flight at PDX!

Comfortable and clean atmosphere. Great, fast friendly service. Food came quickly, large portions, hot and well made. Really good price for the airport. Love the counter seating facing the runway and lots of charging plugs, that actually work. Recommend and will be back.

    Great spot in Concourse C!

Early for a flight or laying over in the Portland airport? Henry's may be your ticket (ha!) to passing the time and getting a drink or a bite to eat. Even with the recent (and super cool!) expansion, PDX still has all those crazy small gates, mostly for those pondhopper regional flights (who flies like 40 miles to Corvallis from Portland?). Nestled among some of smaller gates down Concourse C, you'll find Henry's (used to be the beloved Pearl District). There's more than 30 beers on tap ranging from national to local and pretty much anything else. But you're IN Oregon, where the biermaking skills are sharp and the hops are fresh, so pick something regional! I did - I went for the amber ale from Oakshire Brewing (shoutout EUG!) and it was sooo-poib! That glass of beer went smashingly with a shared platter of chips & veggies with the spinach/artichoke dip. Hot, cheesy goodness, the kind that stretches away from the bowl and shmears well on chips. The spin dip is the best app on the menu, hands down, and comes with crunchy veggies and crunchy other stuff. My lovely wife doesn't do bell peppers, so yay! for me getting all those. The menu has your usual pub-ish fare, so you have plenty to choose from. If any star isn't shining, then it's the service. Those who ARE there hustle, and they're friendly, but like so many other spots, Henry's is staffing-challenged. But three cheers for those who do show up, because the experience would be so much different and you're in a place where people get grumpy easily. Pricing is airport scale, so don't complain. You can drag your satchels in with you, sit at the bar, a table, or a high-top, and with plenty of viewing entertainment. What's not to like? You have time to kill and an appetite to quell, so Henry's is a clear choice.

The joy of a delayed fight is that you get to sit and enjoy a meal. We ordered a couple cocktails, which were way above expectations. We decided to split a Reuben with Gorgonzola fries because it sounded spectacular! Sadly it was so dry I couldn't eat it. but they were kind enough to remove it from the bill. Not sure what happened, because Henry's always has super great food. The drinks, though, did I mention how amazing they were

This is a nice place to grab breakfast or a bite to eat when you're at the airport. They have seating inside the restaurant. It's clean with a comfortable atmosphere. Today I ordered the Henry's breakfast which included two scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, English muffin. They are lightning fast here and my order came out within five minutes. Wow! The one thing I will say is the wait staff is pretty busy and it's tough to get a drink or refill.

    Bartender and bar

Was early for flight so had a Bloody Mary and a great Ruben. Sat at bar and original guy bartender was so nice professional and helpful When the woman bartender took over her only concern was my bag on the chair next to me. It also was the only thing she talked to all the other people at the bar about. There was less than half of the bar stools even used. Didn't care about us needing anything thing else just she wanted room for her customers since we all need to make money. Well, so glad I topped the great bartender I started with this morning!

Date: Monday, March 3rd, 2025 Time: around 5pm Party of: 4 *Macallan 12: 2oz ($20) x2 *Draft 16 pFriem Pilsner ($8.25) *Tavern Chili Bowl ($10.50) *Beer Cheddar Soup Cup ($7) *Classic Caesar ($8.50) *Blue Moon Ale Fish & Chips ($20) My group was trying to find a spot to watch the Warriors game while waiting for our flight. After looking around, this seemed to be the best bet. Unfortunately, they could not play the game, but we decided to stay anyways. We ended up streaming it on our phone instead. I wanted some greens and god the salad. It was fine. Your standard caesar. I paired it with a beer cuz I wanted something light to sip on. The hubby got the fish and chips which he seemed to enjoy along with the scotch. Not a bad price at $20 a pour. One of our friends got the other macallan and the rest of the food items. I didn't try any, but they looked good. Our server was such a sweetheart. Super friendly and nice. She did try to get them to change to the game, but couldn't make it happen. Appreciated the effort tho. Not a bad spot to kill some time before your flight. REVIEW #3738

There is also an indoor section of this restaurant that has nice upholstered booths and a bar. They also have gender, neutral, restrooms, which were pristine and very well stocked. Service was phenomenal. We were greeted by a lovely young person, who made us aware of the self serve, coffee, and water that was available, then our waiter came and was equally lovely and helpful and gave us great ideas for what to order for breakfast. A third person brought our latte and our breakfast very quickly. They were really on top of everything. I had the vegetable pesto breakfast which came with scrambled eggs and a choice of grits or potato pancake. I had the potato pancake and think it was the right choice. It also came with a giant incredibly delicious buttermilk biscuit. The vegetables themselves were so flavorful that I added no salt or pepper, which is very unusual for me as I love my black pepper, but these were seasoned so lovely that it was not needed. The vegetables included garlic, kale, mushrooms, potatoes, and many other delicious bits. The pesto sauce on it was just perfect. My dining companion had biscuit with both types of gravy, which was really great that they let her split it because she had been undecided. Chicken sausage was tasty and she loved every bit of it. They have both a house, made salsa and jam at the table and I think the jam was raspberry and incredibly tasty. Loved it so much. I will be back here as often as possible!

*3.5, rounded up*…read more Came for breakfast on Mother's Day with a reservation. Checked in ~5min early, and ended up waiting for ~15min past reservation time because the hostess did not let us know we had to check-in *again* when the person parking the car had made it to the restaurant. We ended up with what was, in my opinion, the worst table in the restaurant, after watching several parties of the same size seated at 'better' tables, all of which had arrived after the driver, who was there less than 2 min later (so still prior to scheduled time) after I was at the hostess stand, and we were seated waiting in direct view of the hostess. PLEASE be clear in your communication about this policy: it was neither clearly posted anywhere nor voiced - it wasn't a huge inconvenience, but I would have much preferred being sat in the main area. The restaurant areas are each different: the bar area itself is the least interesting: several seating booths and the bar, closest to the bathrooms. The main dining area has more seating, a fireplace and the self serve coffee bar - I LOVE this feature, and even saw a Wonderwood Springs mug. Shoutout to my favorite neighborhood merriment maker, Mike Bennett (if you haven't been there, go. Do the mini golf... but this review isn't about WW, so... moving on) We ordered a couple of adult beverages: the Bloody Mary was *fantastic* and I'm grateful to the server for suggesting to mix the two infused vodkas I was torn between. Hot peppered pickle was *chef's kiss* and gave me all the things I crave in a bloody: slice, twang, umami. The mix was the perfect consistency (nothing worse than a great tasting Bloody Mary that's too thick/thin), and it didn't get too watered down as breakfast went on. Baby Daddy's iced "Shed's on Fire" was... alright. The highlight was the espresso bean that he didn't even get because I stole it (Mother's Day... amirite?). I'm not sure if it was the 151 or if it's because I don't drink much anymore, but all I could taste was the alcohol, so I didn't feel it was very balanced - I would have preferred a more coffee forward taste, especially since our server said the iced version was made you cold brew. I had anticipated it being stronger in coffee flavor. I'm a sucker for anything crab, so when we were told the special was a crab cake Benedict, I was sold (so was my kiddo) - didn't really look at the rest of the menu, and if I'm honest, I'm kind of sad I didn't. It's not that the CCB was bad, but it was just alright/nothing to write home about. I couldn't tell if the crab used was Dungeness, fresh, or something from a can, there wasn't much flavor to the cake itself (it was honestly overpowered by the egg & hollandaise combination) and made me want to go home and try to make my own (Dungeness) cakes. The highlight of my breakfast was the grits, when they first came from the back: note to future me/the person reading this reciew: eat them first/fresh & hot- by the time I came back to them, they had cooled & congealed *sad panda* My son is a culinary student (has studied at Johnson & Wales) said the same thing about the cakes - lack of flavor, needs something additional, couldn't tell what type of crab was used, etc and was also disappointed. The highlight for him was the potato cakes, and I'm pretty sure he is going to try to replicate those at home now!! All in all, we weren't exactly disappointed in our Tin Shed visit, but I'm not sure it tops the list of our favorite Portland breakfast/brunch spots. I'm sure we'll come back, but next time I'll try something on menu and get a biscuit - those b*+ches looked dang amazing on everyone's plates as they walked out of the kitchen!!

The duo of bartenders covering the area did an awesome job (thank you guys!). I tried a draft cider and we got an order of coconut prawns to start. Stopped in for our 4th or 5th visit to celebrate my wife's birthday last Friday night April 17th…read more.. The Cove has always been a great choice in the past for special dinners/occasions. Unfortunately this time, we left very disappointed. My wife has a sensitivity to spicy foods. Upon ordering appetizers for the table, we asked if any of them (that had a spicy description on the menu) had the option to have the sauce on the side. She proceeded to ask how the scallops were and went ahead with that order. There was absolutely no description of having any spicy component on the menu nor any mention by the server. Upon her first bite of the risotto, she went into a severe coughing fit :( I tasted it and acknowledged how spicy it was. She proceeded to just eat the scallops. We were mostly done when the waiter came to check on us ... My wife asked if the dish is typically spicy. Response was "oh yes" ... It was completely lost on us why he wouldn't have mentioned that to her upon ordering knowing how she questioned the appetizers. His offer at this point was a new meal .. which was nice but we were mostly done. There really wasn't much in the way of sincerity beyond that. It seems the right thing to have done was offer my wife (celebrating her birthday) who didn't enjoy her meal ... maybe a comp'd drink or maybe a dessert (no acknowledgment of her birthday at all. When you spend north of $300 ... Disappointing to say the least. Upon leaving, I decided to just express my concern to the hostess and suggested adding the spice level of this specific entree to the menu. I reaffirmed my wife didn't get to fully enjoy her meal. I received a lukewarm "thanks for letting us know." The worst part of the whole experience was a manager/owner type was a few steps behind her, made eye contact and was fully aware i had an issue and made absolutely no attempt to come over and address the complaint. I no longer blame the waiter for his lack of concern knowing it flows from the top. We all go out and spend top dollar at nice restaurants for good food but also, for service and the experience. The restaurant has been opened awhile and maybe is established enough where this isn't as much of a priority as it was early on. In contrast, we went out the night before to a more established fave restaurant of ours in Portland (Ava Genes). Had an incredible meal, incredible experience, and uber attentive service. They even went the extra mile and made a big deal that we chose them to celebrate. Ended our evening with a simple complimentary scoop of gelato/candle. It was a nice touch. Certainly didn't mind spending the $$$ for that evening. I wouldn't dissuade anyone from trying The Cove if they've never been (I'm hopeful they just had a bad night) ... but there are so many good choices out there, it will most certainly make us think twice before going back.
