WHAT A FIND! Located in justice il is this little stop called Henrys Tacos. If you drive too quick you would miss this gem but you have to stop by and taste their chicharon tacos , chilaquiles and machetes. The portions are amazing and the staff is very homey. This is my go to spot now for tacos, you have to try!

I ordered two steak tacos with cheese, onion and cilantro. They were so delicious. They were filling. It did not take long for my food to come out but everything was made to order. I'm glad I discovered this place. I plan on going back soon.

My dad got the barbocoa burrito and I got the Mar y Tierra-skirt steak and shrimp wrapped in bacon. It's funny bc I ordered well done steak and it looked burnt but it wasn't! It was really tasty as was the shrimp. A little too much salt and they forgot my tortillas. The guacamole and salsa were really really good as were the chips. They have a to go counter so it made picking up the order quick and easy. People seemed to be enjoying themselves while dining. Overall, would reccomend and would come again.

We arrived around 4 pm and there was about a 25 minute wait. It is cozy so there were people waiting outside. The decor is more modern than traditional. They have a bar and TVs. Staff are warm and friendly and our server was Dulce. It was a busy day yet she would periodically check in to see how we were doing. We ordered the table side guacamole. It was made fresh at our table and hubby added a little more salt to it. We were also served a small bowl of salsa. The chips are warm and fresh. Hubby ordered the combo fajitas and a strawberry margarita. I ordered the steak enchiladas rojas and a pina colada. Everything was seasoned well and we enjoyed our meals. Kudos to the bartender for making great drinks!

Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I didn't get a chance to try the drinks this time, but they looked amazing. There was a couple there when I arrived, and they told me the drinks were fire, so I'm definitely coming back for that. Overall, I'm really looking forward to coming back again. Overall, the experience was solid. The consomé had good flavor, definitely one of the highlights, but felt like it was just missing that one extra layer of richness or spice to really push it over the top. Still, enjoyable. The birria meat was super tender, which we appreciated. Only downside? The cheese. There was a lot of it. Not a dealbreaker, and some folks might love that, but I personally would've liked the meat to shine a bit more instead of being smothered. Chips and queso were solid, and the tacos were satisfying. Cozy little spot near Midway, and the staff was friendly. Would I come back? Yeah, especially for a casual bite if I'm in the area again.

This isn't just plant-based food -- it's thoughtful, balanced, and crafted with real love. I had the fish tacos (yes, vegan -- and absolutely convincing), the corn ribs, mushroom sandwich, truffle fries, mushroom quesadilla, horchata, and Jamaica. Not one miss. Every single item was a hit. The flavors are layered without being heavy. Comforting without being greasy. Satisfying without the crash. You leave feeling full but light -- the kind of meal where your mouth, your stomach, and your health all say "thank you." If you go, honestly? Do yourself a favor: order a sandwich and a drink. Sit with it. Taste it. Let it speak for itself. This is the kind of place we need not just to survive, but to thrive. You can feel the family behind it. The mom. The owner. The care. The pride. The love is truly in the food. Oak Lawn is lucky to have them. Go hungry. Leave grateful.

We dove in so quick, forgot to take a picture before we violated it! Coffee.... We both had lattes that were crafted w care, so wonderful. Apps.... Corn in cup: Nice big bowl of crispy corn with plenty of ingredients to complement it. Just so good, ya don't want it to end. Corn "Ribs": Yeah more corn, just one look and you're hooked before ya try them. The crema and Coco Salsa are a perfect addition to this delicious and beautiful dish. "Calamari": What? Huh? Coconut meat? Okay, I'll try it. What in the world is going on in this place?!! My mind is blown, what just happened?!! Crispy on the outside, so tender in the middle. The cocktail sauce was great too. I swing both ways, I mean my son calls me vegan fluid, lol. This makes makes me rethink real Calamari, this may actually be better. I'm Italian, those words don't come easy. Dinner.... Yeah, we were so full already, but had to keep pushing Pozole: Smokey red chili broth, I could sip on all day! Jackfruit was so tender and chickpeas were done right. They nailed it again. "Fish" Tacos: Yeah, more coconut meat. Had to give it another go in a different version. Nice big crispy and tender pieces, cold creamy coleslaw on top w chipotle mayo. The taco itself was also delicious. Flavorful rice and guac nicely complement this dish. It's a must have. Dessert, lol, just had to squeeze more food in..... Wife had a Chocolate Concha. Usually concha's come up short for me, but not at this place. I took a bite :) They just don't miss. It was delicious. It was finally time to waddle out of there. In closing..... The owner is always amazing and there all the time, super friendly. Actually remembered us and what we ordered last time! Food is always consistent, the quality is top notch, portions are big, food is beautifully presented and you can tell they care about it. Just look at all the photos on yelp, the meals are always presented the same. You can see what your gonna get and actually get it! You need to realize you're at a real special place, you are NOT going to get this food anywhere else. So treat yourself, splurge a little, you're not gonna regret it. Thank you Abuelita Coco for NOT making miss meat or dairy when I go there. So much love for this place, just wish it was closer to the city. Maybe someday, one can only wish.
