    I understand we are living in a health crisis and all the businesses take precautions to avoid the spread of COVID-19. We came to our appointment on time all masked up and following the rules. However, there is one problem with one of their rules. Not all patients are adults. In my case I'm a single mother with 3 children. Two of my children had appointment but one who is 8 years old did not have an app, so she couldn't get in. They expected her to stay outside in the heat by herself. They care less for their patients. I stayed letting my oldest outside to take care of the little one. The only reason I stayed was because my oldest really needs his glasses and can't miss school anymore. It was really an emergency! I'm really sorry for the doctor who I think is a good professional, but I'm not returning. The manager lack of flexibility, understanding, logic, humanity and respect. She really needs to go to school and learn more about how important is to treat patients welcomed. Her words were "that's your problem" "rules are rules and you have to read them in the website" Also, if you look at the picture, the waiting room is empty. It's ridiculous that my 8 year old child has to wait outside by herself in the heat.

    The doctor is amazing; front office staff is terrible! I recommend getting the exam there and your glasses somewhere else.

In atypical fashion, my wait was much too long. Two people who arrived 15-30 minutes after me were taken to the back before me (even though I arrived before my appointment time). I was told I was waiting for a room to be available so I'm not sure why my wait was so long. Once in the back, the appointment ran fairly smoothly. The doctor was able to explain diagnose my issue quickly and send in an eye drop prescription for me that cleared it up. It worked well enough that I was able to cancel my follow-up appt a week later. The office is always clean and nicely organized. The staff is usually pleasant.

Upon receiving them back, I immediately noticed that the frames were uneven and that one of the arms was twisted. Not only was this claim inaccurate, but the manner in which it was communicated was dismissive and insulting. I felt that my intelligence and integrity were questioned, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter, including inspection of the frames, acknowledgment of the issue, and appropriate corrective action. I chose your business because I trusted the quality of both your products and your service, and I hope that this situation can be resolved in a way that reflects those standards.

I have Federal Davis Vision which I learned after the fact they don't take. By the way, I have been going there w/o issue for several years. Then they wouldn't bill Tricare for some reason, but if they checked, they would have seen that my wife at the time of service, was not on Medicare. I called Tricare and said they should have been billed but weren't, I would have to say this was all due to incompetent billing. Then they were yelling at me, said I didn't know what I was talking about. So that's why I verified everything. My advice, the front office is rude, not capable of taking criticism displaying a know it all attitude. I took my business elsewhere. And I'm not even going to get into the care that was provided last time which was largely indifferent. Btw, I have the same insurances,0n RR Medicare, which according to this office is different. I called them and was assured it was Medicare (as I pay the same Part C A and B premium), but I was rightfully told that the decision to bill is up to the practice. So you would think they would mention this to me, since I was ok with using RR Medicare in the past several years.So if don't want these hassles, all of which truly happened, then don't go there.

I stated to the staff that I wasn't informed this would be happening and the staff says she would check with the Doctor to see if it had to be done. At this point I asked to see a manager and Lolly finally came. As I expressed, I should have been informed because I had to drive and if I had known, I would have had a driver and I had to go to work she began to laugh and did so throughout me speaking with her. She then stated she would ask if two other doctors could see me but came back and stated nobody would see me without dilating my eyes. I asked Lolly why this wasn't part wasn't of making an appointment process? Lolly stated she had to think about it but could reschedule me an appt. I'm livid because I waited several weeks for this appt, and losing work just sitting here only to be told to reschedule. I stated to Lolly at this point I want a refund, she tells me to have a seat and she would be back, also still laughing. They were quick to take my money when I came in the door but took a while to refund it. This is an unprofessional practice, and the management not aware of what is going on in the practice. This lets you know that this clinic has issues. I should have read the reviews before even making this appointment but went based on a referral.

Turned out that my situation would require a procedure and the Woolfson Eye Institute could assist with resolving this matter. Dr. Salmonson in the College Park & Stockbridge offices is an extremely knowledgeable individual and he shares his insight in a very friendly manner with the patient. The office staff is great at making people feel welcome here and they act very professional around the patients. They're also great with helping to tackle those insurance policy headaches!! Each of their offices come equipped with a Keurig machine in the waiting area for that quick morning caffeine jolt, and their offices are quite clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend visiting the Woolfson Eye Institute for all of your eye care needs.

Go for your free consult and a week and a half later, you are scheduled for eye surgery. They re-check your eyes multiple times to make sure that they have the correct prescription and everyone in the office is so kind! Dr. Woolfson himself is a nice man who put all of us at ease. The procedure was rather simple and routine! It took no more than 20 minutes with only a small amount of pressure and nothing to scary and I was 20/20. It was so easy, in fact, I couldn't believe that I waited this long to have it done! By bedtime, I could see perfect and the next day, I had legal driving vision- 20/20. No pain or discomfort. For anyone who is thinking of checking into LASIK, I highly recommend Dr. Woolfson and his team! Very professional and very good! I couldn't be more pleased!
