Once I knew my wedding date, Monita was one of the first vendors that I immediately booked and the only bridal henna artist I wanted to reach out to. Tons of my friends have gotten their henna done from her and had nothing but glowing things to say. I went into this experience a little nervous, not knowing exactly what look I wanted for my henna but Monita immediately put me at ease. She was able to come up with a design on the spot based on 1 or 2 photos that I showed her and was a pleasure to speak to through the entire process. I've gotten henna done in the past and it usually never comes out dark on me but Monita's homemade henna stayed dark for over 2 weeks and smelled lovely. Definitely would recommend her to all those who are looking for bridal henna! read more

My bridal henna was absolutely flawless! Monita did an amazing job. She is a perfectionist and that is exactly what you want in a henna artist. I remember watching her do my henna and being super impressed at how well she executed the design. She did not need a design book or anything; everything was freehand! She is a true artist. Both hands and feet were perfectly symmetrical! I was at her house for 6 hours or so, and she was so accommodating and friendly. She asked me if I needed to drink water a few times. My henna stain was super dark and lasted for 3 weeks! Thank you for giving me the bridal henna of my dreams! She is definitely one of the best in the business! Monita did my bridal henna in October 2017. My mother had seen her work about 4 years prior to this and had held on to her information all this time because she was the best artist my mom had ever seen, and my mom has been to A LOT of weddings! So I knew Monita must be someone special. I then continued to go through pictures of her work - on her website, on instagram, facebook, yelp, etc., and oh my god it was beautiful and I knew she was the artist i wanted!! She was already booked up for the date 2 days before my wedding but I did not want anyone else and therefore we decided to do my mehendi 3 days prior to my wedding day. (by the way, i had booked her in december 2016, 11 MONTHS before my wedding!!) fast forward to wedding- Monita came to my house and first did henna designs for several women in my family, she never rushed her work and gave her best to my family and friends. She then started my henna, which took about 6 hours to complete. She is extremely patient for sure and is meticulous in her work. She is so passionate about her art and yet was able to accommodate my special requests to draw symbols- which included a ferris wheel (representing my first date), statue of liberty, three paw prints to represent my pets, a stethoscope, and religious symbol as well. She took her time, her work is extremely neat and has such beauty with her clean designs. I followed her after-care instructions and my henna stain was this beautiful, deep, dark burgundy! it easily lasted throughout my wedding and reception. she has been doing henna for many years and is very well trained in this art. Her experience shows through in her work and in her personality. She is humble and kind and again, so patient! I loved working with her and have already recommended her to all my friends with upcoming weddings! i know wedding planning can be hard and it involves a lot of tough decision making. Choosing Monita was the single BEST decision i made for my wedding! i couldn't stop showing off my arms and legs to everyone because of her work!! Monita (Henna for All) is an awesome artist! My bridal mehndi was traditional, elegant, and symmetrical. I went over the top, and given that, her speed was great too. She incorporated all of the elements I was looking for and then used her creativity to fill in the rest. She was extremely professional, arrived early, and catered to my family and me. I got married in Oct of 2016 and Monita did my bridal henna. She took about 4 hours to do my feet one inch above my ankle and both arms to the elbows. Her work was absolutely flawless and amazing. She is so friendly, professional, punctual, and easy going. If I could do it all over again I would have definitely booked her.
