Whoever Baked my potato about 2 weeks ago needs a raise and to never leave. It was so fluffy all the way through and perfectly cooked that baby angels would have slept on it like a cloud. I almost cried a little. Warning: they do put fake bacon bits on these which I kind of think is a sin for a barbecue place to not have real bacon bits but I just order mine without. Their white sauce is not too sweet (some places mess it up like that). It is a healthy face-sized potato, they are not skimping. I wish I had taken a picture. It had plenty of butter and generous portions of chicken cheese and sour cream. I have absolutely no complaints. I don't know much about the rest of their food because all I ever get here are the baked potatoes. I'm only upset that I went again on the 1st of July not knowing that they had closed for the holiday weekend and they broke my pregnant craving heart, but that's on me. read more

This place is a TOTAL hole in the wall. One of the only two restaurants (aside from subway) by my work facility so the place is always pretty much filled w/ my colleagues. I thought it was funny they had a bologna sandwich and grilled cheese on the menu. I ordered a half potato with pulled pork and bbq sauce and cheese. It was surprisingly really good and very filling! I saw the full potato and omg there's no way a human adult can eat that in one sitting! I loved the large portions and it was super cheap! Like $8 for that. I also ordered a side of corn fritters- deep fried corn with a sweet sauce. I was not a fan of that one unfortunately. I ate one and did not want more. I've tried at one point or another most of their menu items, and for the most part, they're all good, especially their loaded potato and their homemade white sauce is fantastic as well. We eat there fairly regularly because it's 8 minutes from our home, and it's always a good experience between the food, service, and order fulfillment speed. The only bad part is it's hard to tell when they're going to be open, which that may be because of covid staffing issues..? 7/10 recommend, you won't be disappointed.. unless they're not open. read more

I've passed by this Bar-B-Que place for months now, today I finally got the chance to stop for lunch during my work break. Ordered a small Pork Platter w/ 2 sides. My sides were Mac & Cheese and a vinegar based coleslaw. Pulled Pork was excellent & flavorful. It had the smokey taste I look for when I order pork at Bar-B-Que joints. Sides were very good also. The meal, as a whole, really hit the spot, I throughly enjoyed it. Henley's Bar-Bque is a hidden gem in Northern Alabama, I agree with the other Yelp Reviewers, this place is 5 Star quality. I'm looking forward to dropping in again soon -- I saw several tasty looking pies displayed behind the counter, and I love pie ! read more

This is a small town business, and it's my favorite thing to find, these restaurants off the grid, of my normal. AMAZING FOOD and AMAZING PEOPLE! I highly recommend this BBQ joint! I had a smoked chicken plate with baked beans and fried okra! Delish! Their baked beans were unique with bits of pulled meat! The chicken was to die for. They know BBQ and they serve it up right! Stopped by on our way to Cleveland,TN. Husband and I had the pork platter with two sides. French fries were amazing, mac and cheese was okay. Pork needed more smoke flavor, but may be just my pregnant taste buds. Food was hot and service was fast and friendly. The baked potatoes seem to be popular and smelled amazing! I eat here several times a week since it's a toss-up between them and Subway. I've never had a bad meal from Henley's. It's a family owned restaurant that is located in the old post office at the intersection of Hwy 101 and Hwy 20. When we have customers or support personnel come in, I always take them to eat at Henley's. I really can't say that I've ever heard a complaint. The food is consistently good. Their potatoes are gigantic and they pile on the meat. Their BBQ pork sandwiches are really good, too. Hamburgers are thicker than Hardees and taste much better. They offer smoked chicken in several configurations. i always get "all white meat" and it is a large portion. They take credit cards and the service is fast and friendly.
