We felt really safe in our car, which is so important to us since we have a four year old son! I am 65 years old, they are only the 2nd dealer I would ever say that about. Each member of the family operation I met was genuinely very friendly and pleasant to work with. They actually came down $2500 on what honestly was already a fair price. And this at the tail end of the used car price markup craziness to do with the covid pandemic. They also arranged to have me picked up from the Charlotte airport, a good 30 min from their dealership. I was heading home on a 600 mile drive Immediately after doing the final sale details with them. Knowing this, Justin and Christina went out of their ways to accomplish as much of the paperwork and sales finalities over the phone before I even left to fly to Charlotte. I highly recommend CAW and I'm sure you'll be as impressed with their efficiency, friendliness and honesty as I was. Yes, I actually said that about a car dealer. I would not hesitate to fly another 600 miles up to Charlotte to get another vehicle from them. Bruce in Melbourne, Fl

I am extremely disappointed with the way Hendrick handled what should have been a straightforward…read morecustomer service issue. The problem with our vehicle should have been addressed while it was still under warranty. Instead, the issue wasn't identified until we brought the vehicle back for a recall, at which point we were told it now required a repair at our expense. It's frustrating to be charged for a problem that should have been caught and resolved when the vehicle was covered under warranty. To make matters worse, when we picked up the vehicle, the invoice did not reflect the discounts we had been told would be applied to "make it right." When we questioned this, our service advisor, Jessica, responded, "We don't have $100 to give on this." Considering this is Hendrick, that response was surprising and disappointing. Rick Hendrick (net worth 1 billion - 13 billion in revenue from multi-dealerships) certainly has the resources to stand behind his customers, especially when the issue should have been corrected under warranty in the first place. Even more concerning was Jessica's comment: "When you brought this in, we had a feeling you were going to be like this." No customer should ever be spoken to that way. Rather than listening to our concerns, we were made to feel like we were the problem for simply asking the dealership to honor what had been discussed. In the end, we paid over $500, including approximately $150 in fees that were never disclosed or approved during the phone call authorizing the repair. Some charges were simply listed as "Misc." When I asked what they were for, I was told they were just "required fees," without any meaningful explanation. Customers deserve full transparency before work is performed--not surprises when they arrive to pay the bill. What makes this experience especially disappointing is that we purchased our vehicle from Hendrick and have remained loyal customers. We've also chosen Hendrick's Body Shop on three separate occasions following accidents that were not our fault, even though we had many other repair shop options. The Body Shop has consistently provided excellent service, which makes this experience with the service department even more disappointing. Loyal customers deserve honesty, transparency, and respect. Instead, we left feeling dismissed, overcharged, and treated as though our concerns were an inconvenience. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly damaged our confidence in Hendrick's service department.

Update June 21st Summary: They'll make things right…read more Just reach out if something sounds amiss. Here's what Happened since my Original post: Service Manager Jason reached out. I was pleasantly surprised as I was shocked they read Yelp. First, he owned everything showing he read my review for understanding. Phone lines were problematic but no excuse. McKenzie/Mackenzie is new and that's no excuse were his offerings. Second, bring it in and we'll get on top of things. Y'all that's the standard. ** Having paperwork done before our arrival and making things seamless is the WIN! - I had a conference call to get to and yes, work is always going. Third, he followed up when he hadn't heard from me but I'm not the one to text and drive or email and drive plus I'm always in the manual transmission so it's not smart to try it. At any rate, picked up family and got the email sent off with all our details. I was told to expect Jordan but he's back in the office so it could be done today. 4th, we arrived to Jordan being versed and aware. Another advisor also knew Jordan was the point of contact and pointed us in her way while explaining. My word, I wish every interaction could be like this for service Nowadays. Anywhoo,we received a video and I didn't think much of it. Dealers have been texting since 2014 in my experience but this was the tech showing his work. They reached out to our limited warranty folks which I'd never advise to buy or pickup but new driver to a manual transmission made me say get that extended warranty. Anywhoo, I have them time to reach out and Jason followed up with details and his efforts. * Warranty folks have their process and won't do any work * Jason reached out to Subaru to see what they'd do. I followed up with my warranty folks and relayed what they told me which was essentially break down the engine (added costs) and then complete these steps and we shall do our part. Break down is $2600 so we opted out. I was holding out hope that Subaru would meet us half way/split the baby then I'd happily get the shortblock replacement ALAS another day and they said only 1k. We were charged for diagnostic then reduced it to $89. Shocked there was a charge as the dealer in Illinois didn't and we're bringing it under a warranty but to each their own. Consumption test done in January 2025 showed this thing is burning oil. I'm just a girl but yeah .. it's not on the ground and there's a fresh oil change but Concord didn't know this so they did their own homework and alas.... Little to no oil left and we just had an oil change the month prior. C'est la vié I was had on this used car purchase. In all things, they promptly respond to my emails. You can text or call so communication works here. I'm usually at work so text and email is best for me. I do wish they had an online process for paying and checking out. They are near a Walmart and Ollie's so more inside the city of Concord. Not right off 85. The Forester loaner wasn't clean but it's new so what could be bad or wrong about a 2025 anything. Of course, it's fully loaded which makes me itchy to get out of it ASAP to ensure I don't overspend on a new car with all the amenities. Stunned that Subaru didn't see the long picture as we are now shopping for a new car with AWD because yes.... We must still manage the Midwest winters. Their repair offer was nice just not sufficient if you're looking to keep loyalty and most Subaru owners are clicky-loyal. They got on top of the original repair needed and we got the numbers worked out. Think I was impressed with reading the Yelp review? Well, addressing the cost difference, that I didn't get in writing, for the repairs is another win In all, 1. Speak up. This place doesn't get offended or rude like some places 2. I wasn't offended with my Monday call just didn't trust what I was being hence why I gave 3 stars. 3. They should give notice to loaner folks to put up a dog cover or clean up after themselves. 4. Life is so much easier with helpful accountable people in jobs that they like and/or respect.

HOWEVER, the General Manager was a total jerk. He should not be working for Subaru. He got on my case for turning off the rear collision system because we had a problem with it backing into our steep driveway. It would slam on the brakes and shut the engine off while I still in the road. He was so rude I traded-in my 2025 Outback just to get away from Subaru. No more Subaru of Concord for us again.

I downloaded this app just to post this review…read more First, I want to give a huge thank you to Lake Norman Hyundai for doing the right thing with our car when we brought it in for a suspected engine recall. As for my experience with Modern Hyundai, I was: Talked down to in the most condescending way ("I'm going to use big and scary words with you" when talking about spark plugs and coils that I had already mentioned.) Lied to (I was assured they had run a test and when asked for proof I got a call back telling me "I thought I was talking to someone else") I knew my stuff with this car and had done years of research only to be told, essentially, that I didn't know what I was talking about. and last but not least, I was charged for something I should not have been charged for as my car was in for a recall but they refused to complete the necessary tests to prove the recall was warranted. Lo and behold, I go to a different Hyundai dealership and they did the necessary tests as requested and my car was purchased back from Hyundai due to the faulty engine :-) On top of all this, the communication is AWFUL. Impossible to get a call back or status updates. So glad to be done with Hyundai and this dealership has soured my experience

They didn't check the warranty nor check with him before performing services that added on costs. We've called several times after learning that his warranty should have been honored and should have covered the services he was provided. Each time we have been denied reimbursement or any sort of reconciliation. My father also has gone for oil changes here in the past and stopped because there was always some sort of issue. Absolutely the worst service experience I've ever had at a Cadillac dealership…read more I originally came in for a simple oil change and after sitting there for nearly 2 hours, I was told I needed a wheel alignment. I agreed to it, only for them to later come back and say their machine was broken and I would need to return another day so they could use a different machine. Mind you, I drove an hour to this dealership. To make matters worse, I explained to the service advisor that I had an important meeting and needed to leave, yet he still moved at an unbelievably slow pace while I waited another 30 minutes just to cash out and leave. During checkout, I also mentioned that I had a GM rewards offer for my oil change that I wanted to use. I was told I couldn't use it, and at that point I was so frustrated I just told them to forget it. After paying, nobody even brought my car around. I had to go searching through the lot to find it myself. Then when I finally got in my vehicle, they had left all the plastic coverings and trash inside the car for me to throw away myself. Poor communication, wasted time, lack of professionalism, and zero sense of urgency. Completely unacceptable experience from a Cadillac dealership. I will never return for service again.
