I have tried to give the service department the benefit of the doubt on several occasions. However, when you call and ask for a service advisor, 90% of the time you never get anyone and good luck having someone call you back. Good customer service seems to be a thing of the past. read more

The cars is great, the dealer is terrible. The finance person was a really dishonest and took forever to correct the issue with our car purchase. The service department was our car and looked like the washed it with a rake. The paint need correction after the car wash damaged during washing. The service department website is very glitchy and doesn't actually schedule your appointment. Good luck getting anyone to call you back from this dealer. Do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can from this dealer. You may be buying a luxury car, but you will Yugo service. read more

Had my car towed there and called and made an appt for 8am. Called multiple times that day and no one could call me back or answer me about what was going on with my vehicle. Left multiple messages and got no response in over 24 hours. Now I remember why I go to Thompson Cadillac for all my service instead of these guys. read more

Sales guy changed the numbers around & treated my husband & I as if we were ignorant by saying "he had never had a problem with people not understanding the disclaimer." Brough the warranty truck in for repairs. They returned to me saying all is well and truck within GM spec. Took it to the independent mechanics they diagnosed faulty injectors, brought it back for warranty repairs to this dealer with diagnostics documentation, same answer "does not matter what independent mechanics say, truck does not show faulty codes but vibrations and rough idle is normal for GM trucks..."Very arrogant Service Manager laughed in my face saying "go complain to whomever you want, GM and Hendrick Cadillac have more lawyers". At 1st it good but then things changed. Friday July 3: I had a 8:15 appointment I never received a update so around 2pm I called just to be toll my car was just going in for diagnostics. Johanna said she would call me back in an hour never heard back from her. So I started to worried an decided to come up to shop a little after 5pm I arrived just to be toll my vehicle needed a part that wasn't in stock and my bill was over a $1000. Okay that was tuff pill to swallow but went asked the the loaner car which Johanna promised me that we will put you in a Cadillac instead I was offer an Encore. When I asked what happened to the car you promised, I was toll "A car is the car isn't it. Its the end of day nothing I can do." I'm thinking to my self my car was up here all day why am I just getting this news right before a holiday weekend. Not a very good feeling so I decided not to accept the Encore and agree to the work that was diagnosed as the problem. Monday July 6: I sent Johanna an email that morning asking if my part was order and to send the invoice. Around 2pm I decided to call and asked to be transferred to her no one never pick up after waiting for a while the operator switched back to me I was toll Johanna wasn't at work. Tuesday July 7: Johanna called me and informed that the part was order and should be in that day. I explained to her that I tried emailing just to find out the email on the website was incorrect. Later when she called me back I was toll there was another problem with my car and it would be 911 to fix it. At this I really began to believe that dealerships are really out to rip people off or my car was miss diagnosed from the beginning! After hearing the frustration in my voice Johanna was able to get that price reduce but only after I decided to have my car towed to another shop. I never thought I would have been paying 1639.00. Overall if can avoid coming back Southpoint I will. I will travel to Cary first. read more

After having my vehicle for two weeks I go and pick it up at the Hendrick Cadillac dealership in Durham yesterday and the DVD players are not working. When we go inside and mention this, the service advisor says that the Cadillac advisor is not there and asked "What do you want me to do about this?" Again by far the worst customer service I have encountered in a very long time. The staff is argumentative and does not listen, is full of excuses, and is super defensive. Please please think twice before taking your car there. Once they try to fix the issue that have been paid for and not fixed, I will never ever go back there again. I visited the Cadillac service department last week and I will tell you unlike previous experiences at Hendrick at the Chevy and BMW sides of their complex the Cadillac division is horrible. I am not speaking of the technicians but the two service advisors Roop Balmick and Johanna Green are lazy, rude and have no customer service skills. If you want to learn how not to run a service department take your Cadillac to them and I am sure you will be unimpressed with their lack of pride in what they do. They belong in a warehouse taking inventory rather than dealing with customers. read more

I have not even gotten my truck back yet. I dropped my truck off my 2016 Escalade last Thursday morning for an appointment I made that weekend prior. They were suppose to be checking why my stilibrake and abs light was coming on. I also wanted them to check out why the transmission jerks. When I got there it was one person at the Cadillac counter, I should have turned around then. I leave the car with one of the people so that checked me in. I never rcv'd a call from anyone at the service dept. I made three calls from 1pm Thursday to Friday. I finally was able to speak to someone by the name of Kristine and she advised me of the status of my truck and stated she would update me. Well well well no update, I finally called on Tuesday and she stated the truck was with the transmission person and she would let me know what is going on and when I can pick up the vehicle. I have not rcv one call, I am in need of my truck for traveling purposes. No one has offered me a loaner, I have to run down the service department to get answers. I have dealt with many different service depts and this is the WORST service center I have ever dealt with in my life. OH and I still have no truck and no update as of today my truck is still at Hendricks Cadillac. I am due to leave town Sunday and now it looks like I will have to rent a truck. smh read more

Their service department is the reason I sold my 2014 Vsport. I owned the car for 10 months and had several issues. It was in the shop more than 5 times. Johanna was often rude to me, or completely unresponsive when I needed to schedule a time to bring mine in and get a loaner car. The last time I brought my car in for the metal trim oxidizing, turbo rattles, squeaking sunroof, and some other issues. They said my trim is "normal", they couldn't duplicate the turbo rattle (had video proof and was able to make it rattle any time I wanted, and said the sunroof squeak was caused by body flex. Joanna asked if I taken my car to the track? Umm no, I have never tracked a car before. Turbo rattle is a well documented issue on this car and GM has released two fixes for it. The dealer refused to fix those issues and others. You pay money for a luxury brand and get treated like garbage. I ended up selling the car after only 10 months and went to a different brand and much happier now. I would strongly recommend avoiding this dealer at all costs, and do research before spending money on a Cadillac. I will NEVER buy another Cadillac in my life because of the poor treatment I received from the service department at this dealer. Hopefully whoever gets my old car has a better dealer than I did. read more
