The fruit stand employees were very nice but the fruit I got here was just ok. I drove from Houston.

First driving in, we noticed it was not too busy. Getting out of the car we saw, heard and felt the hustle and hard-work of the employees rearranging plants with equipment and by hand, we heard them working with customers. Walking in, we instantly noticed the goodies on the shelf in the mason jars for sale and the cool outdoor decor for purchase!; we bought one of everything on the shelf and everything was so yummy. My favorite was the fig preserve (so good over cottage cheese and fresh berries. Thank me later ). We wondered around and placed plants together to eye what would look nice together for our backdrop behind the pool. This nursery was so chill (I felt free to just BE and LOOK. Also, there was a man working in the plants that was eager to help and suggested many different plants for the area that would work in the area we were looking to fill. What we purchased: purple ornamental grass and some Snow On The Mountain (sooo pretty, need to get more to fill in). We also bought some corn nuggets, dried banana chips, cucumbers, PURPLE HULL (already peeled and frozen in a bag), okra, and oranges. All fresh fruit and veggies turned out great with our lunch and we tried all the canned goodies as soon as we got home and unloaded all our plants lol!!! ((When)) I go back, I am looking forward to buying one of their whole chickens, more veggies and looking into some of their plants that attract butterflies . I recommend this place. Parking is very small, so please bring your kindness and patience. Customer service was very great, so the entire experience is worth the time and wait. If you have any specific questions, let me know and I'll answer quickly.

We saw very quickly that they did not want our business so we left. If you are black/person of color, don't shop here.

They farm with a conscious focus on the health of the soil and in prudent use of natural resources in their biome. The result is an attractive and nutritious bounty of produce. While their primary focus is on green, leafy items, depending on the season, they will surprise you with interesting and delicious fare such as purple carrots. I would encourage you to visit their Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/bouldinfoodforest/) to see a colorful smorgasbord of their many offerings throughout the year What I like the best about Bouldin is the fresh-from-the-field nature of their produce. For quite a while, I'd been stuck on Organic Girl products from various healthy grocers because I found them to be, well, clean. During COVID-19, i ran into several challenges with my approach because the curbside shoppers aren't always conscious that you can't eat a whole bin of spinach with one day of shelf-life remaining. Furthermore, hydroponics doesn't always offer the best in flavor, and the cross country trip mass-market produce makes takes a toll on quality and perishability. You can taste the difference in crisp and flavor. Plus, I've often gotten 2-3 weeks from some of their greens. The great news is you don't have to drive to Rogers to take advantage of their wholesome goodness. They are a regular featured supplier to both Austin Wheatsville stores and a permanent fixture at the Texas Farmer's Market at Mueller on Sundays. I will warn that they bring a lot, but they also sell-through fast, so best get there early when they open if you don't want to miss out. And, if you go to the farmer's market, say hi to Ben, the owner. Yes, he runs his own stand. He's that involved and he cares that much.

Seems more like an open air grocery). The focus is strongly on produce, with a lot of Mexican spices and exotic fruits, although there are permanent installations of restaurants and several small crafts vendors (more towards the open area). Tons of spices, vegetables, and fruits of all kinds. We bought some rambutan for $6/lb (you can shop around a bit, we heard prices anywhere from $6-8) and a bag of coconuts. I think overall the prices are quite high. There are also tons of bugs around in the summer and some booths do better than others at keeping them out with little fans. The Local Market Bar was very cute and conveniently air conditioned. We got a dirty (espresso shot) unsweetened matcha and it was pretty bitter, a good wakeup but not too flavorful overall and was pricey for what it was. Maybe would've tried one of their foams next time.
