I am a med patient, but if there's a good promo going, I don't mind paying a small amount of the Rec tax. I used to shop at Enlightened in Mount Prospect on the medical side. However, since moving out of the local area- I haven't visited Enlightened in a long time. I stopped in to pick up some Rev concentrate. I placed my order online ahead of time- as I would have an Uber wait while I grab my pre-order. The dispensary inside is one of the most gorgeous in IL. The displays are colorful and sure to catch the eye. For the first time consumer, this is the place to go. The menu selection is impressive. Flower, extracts/concentrates, edibles, topicals, vapes. They also have a solid selection of merch and canna gear. They do have an ATM on site- as well as accepting debit cards. There is a small charge to use debit, so be aware of this. I entered the dispensary and headed straight for the checkout line. The place was pretty empty, MAYBE a handful of folks. A few in line checking out. I have never seen a place move so slowly in my life. I'd hate to see a busy weekend day. My Uber got tired of waiting, so it costed me money to summon another driver. The cashier was like watching paint dry. You should be able to be in and out. Instead, everything moves at a glacial pace. Offer a dedicated online pickup line. I also would love to see a bit more "pep" in the step to move people along. It shouldn't take 15 minutes of waiting with a handful of customers. Adding additional staff or registers would be extremely beneficial. As a first time visitor to that location, I did get 30% off. I truly appreciate it. The sale was very good. But I'll be honest: 10% off for medical is insulting compared to the competition. Most other dispensaries offer 15-25% off. They certainly can do better on this. I did appreciate the complimentary edible with an $80 purchase, thank you! I will certainly visit again when in the area, but as a seasoned cannabis consumer and med patient- I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit there with how long it took to get in and out. The discount would need to be better or at least on par with the competition. Great selection. Gorgeous location. A process that needs a bit of refinement so things run smoothly.

I first walked into FreE-Cigs without really knowing what I was looking for. Kevin was busy at the moment, but James, after finishing with another customer, gave his undivided attention to answer all of my questions and help me decide what I should start with. Everything I asked was met with an answer that left no doubt as to the knowledge James had about every product in the store and what would work best with how and when I would vape. I had seen videos of the many mods and I rebuildables available, and initially this is what I thought I'd walk out with. However, after great conversation with James, and some input from Kevin, I decided on the starter Evod with the Weisenheimer E-liquid and a pack of 1.8 ohm coils. I left completely satisfied with my purchase and experience at FreE-Cigs My experience was more than I could ask for. I have since been back quite a few times and the experience only grows. Kevin and James have no problems with answering any questions and radiate their passion in each customer interaction from beginners to the experienced. They also expand my own knowledge with every visit. I am still using the Evod starter kit and another similar product and have yet to take my vape to the next level, but when I do, FreE-Cigs is where I will go.

During my previous visit, me and my girlfriend walked into the store, and were looking on their chalkboard list of vape juices. Maybe a full minute went by of us looking at the flavors and the guy just says out loud with a dull expression on his face, "you guys just going to stand there?". I've been only extremely nice to these workers but any time I ask for something or say what I need to replace they act extremely annoyed that I'm in the store. The only exception is the younger guy that works there. He's always been nice and very helpful to me. I would also understand if they were busy each time I walked in and they felt overwhelmed, but each time in there I've either been the only person in the store or there's been one other person. I'm giving this place one more chance after this, and only because the store is conveniently located 2 blocks away from my house. I'm sure there are plenty of other vape stores that appreciate business more than this store does...
