We only found out because a friend of ours saw our vehicle on a tow truck bed and our friend called us. The lady at stans who i spoke to assumed that the vehicle was totaled and gave the permission to have the vehicle released to the auction company without notifiying us or having us sign. We still had personal property in the vehicle and not given notice to come clean out the car. We had not even received the police report or a call from insurance yet! First and last time using Stans! He took me to Dave's Garage and I was advised that my tires were no longer in good shape. They did not have any tires onsite and they replaced my four tires on my Escape and also changed the oil. They worked so quickly although they had to obtain tires from somewhere else. They told me they would be done by noon but were done with everything by 1045am. I was so impressed!! Everyone was kind and honest and respectful and worked quickly to finish before noon and explained the steps that were needed for my new tires. I knew they were shady when they came out "recommending" that brake and power steering fluid be drained and replaced as a regular maintenance item. (Surprised they didn't tell me I needed new blinker fluid.) Not only that, since they worked on it I've been getting a loud vibration noise when the car idles. Like they didn't tighten something down. I wasn't going to bother reviewing, but I just had to have my rear brakes (and rotors) replaced less than 3000 miles since they "inspected" them and told me they were good. If I was that close to grinding metal on metal that would easily have been detected had they done an actual inspection. Nope, never going back.
