We visited some friends for a pool day and played a few games like billiards. GVP also has corn hole, ping pong, and more. There's plenty of meeting rooms and places for large parties. The park is super clean and protected. I love that they don't have time for unruly kids or patrons, security is super responsible and friendly. The park has plenty of RV slots, a gym, and is near several hotels and eateries. It's perfect for a recreational trip or hangout. The entire property is protected by a gate and consistent surveillance.

In my opinion, WOW Was I surprised to find out we had a good old boy board, In my opinion If you weren't one of their friends or close acquaintances You were not on the board and no chance of being placed. I can speak from experience, I ran for the board next thing I know, I have the board president knocking on my door asking me to resign so they could put one of their good old boy friends in. I felt at that time I didn't want to deal with this kind of BS so decided to resend my application. After much thought, meeting some really good people in the community that were trying to do the right thing, I stood fast. I joined the Finance Committee went toe to toe with the good old boys BOD. I was one of the main focuses of developing the rental cap committee because I had foreseen a problem with more than 25% of the community being rentals. There was a vote 50% plus one and it passed. It's 2026 now and I can say from experience things have completely turned around. We have a top-notch general manager onsite now and the board is active, transparent and making some awesome changes. Mountain Shadows RV Resort is a beautiful place to live, very affordable and welcoming. I would recommend Mountain Shadows RV Resort.

When walking anywhere inside the park where it's safe. You can only walk your dog to the gate to go outside of the gate to walk your dog. I'm riding my bike with my dog when I stopped with my dog at the I'm riding my bike I stopped at the corner so my dog can do her usually smelling the fire hydrant. . A lady from the HOA walked up to me with a piece of paper demanding I take it so I will know where me my dog is allowed to walk to the outside gate.

Leaving the previous office abandoned. The front security entry gate doesn't work, jacuzzi locked up, exercise rm locked up, kitchen locked up, toilet paper never in bathrooms, shower heads missing, barking dogs everywhere, no rules are enforced and if you complain.. they will harass you and try to evict . They are corrupt, they act gangster. I ordered a package from italy... It took about four weeks to get here. Made it through customs, shipped to US customs, cleared through different facilities to get her. They received in in the office with my last name, proper address and space number and they sent it back because it had my son's first name on it and he's not on the lease. I've been here eight years and that has never happened before... Un till I complained about the neighbors dog. These people need to be held accountable.

We spent 3 nights here in August of 2026 and were delighted that we did. It's an oasis in downtown Oceanside. The staff are delightful, the resort is very will organized and well maintained. There's a locked gate to enter a very short path to Buccaneer Beach. Spaces are concrete paved and the utilities are perfectly positioned. My only comment would be that there's not much room between spaces so it's tight, but still very maneuverable. Keep in mind, this is prime real estate close to the beach, so it's expected that they need to make the best use of their acreage. Paradise is a very neat place to get away.

There are trains all day long but never found it to be a major issue. The loudest noise is the duly and diesel trucks that are onsite inside camp. You can hear the ocean mostly. Definitely will be rebooking in the summer

He rents a 1 bdrm trailer with propane gas stove that hasn't had heat for years. When he turns on faucet, it needs to run because it's brown water then becomes clear. They manipulate the electricity meters so much that in Jan 2022, his bill was over $600. It's a small single wide trailer with no working heat! From that point on, everyone living in the 55+ has had issues but they feel helpless. The pool was condemn by city. It's been green for several years. Don't believe their website. They're promoting open houses but I'm telling you, the place is a dump! And it's owned by Westland Real Estate Group. They're liars.

We've interacted with several staff members and all of them were nice, extremely helpful and accommodating. The lake had beautiful views of the mountains and everyone had a great time. During the summer weekends, they have water play for the kids. There is a playground, volleyball and basketball courts and plenty of paved roads to ride bikes or scooters. The RV itself said it accommodates 6 people but personally I think it's good for 3-4 people. If you're very tall, the beds will be cramped for you. Everything you need is provided. Just bring your own food and drinks. There is a market at the entrance to buy some snacks, ice cream and drinks. All in all, we were very pleased with the campground and the great people working there. Highly recommended.

There is a portable Ac in the living room and a window ac in the bedroom. My child slept upstairs in the loft bedroom. The main issue is that you can't run both the portable and bedroom ac at the same time because it pops the breaker. The window ac is very noisy and makes a rattling sound. Don't even try to use the toaster and ac at the same time. It was 90s during the day and still very warm at night. It was an inconvenience not being able to run both AC units at night. They provided towels, toilet paper, soap and pans but no hair dryer. The groceries at the market are extremely expensive. Best to buy all your food at the stater brothers down the mountain to the campsite or go to the grocery store in Idyllwild. I rented the pontoon boat for fishing and that was my favorite part. It was so relaxing to cruise on the lake and enjoy the beautiful Mountain View. We caught a very large cat fish with the night crawlers. I recommend coming in the spring or fall to avoid the extreme heat during the day and bring all your food with you to save money. Come during the week for a more peaceful experience once Friday night hits, lots of families are arriving. Theres cafe in the market that has pretty good food but they have odd hours during the week. Idyllwild is a 15 minute drive with fun quirky shops and good restaurants to explore.
